Rogan, who went after Jones on his podcast while speaking with conservative pundit Dave Rubin, said that he was unaware of the conspiracy theorist’s claim that the Sandy Hook shooting was staged, and added that he would’ve confronted Jones about it during his appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience had he known. The comparison falls apart on a few levels. One, Obiwan in his old age never drew his saber aggressively, only ever defensively, never picking a fight. Jones is clearly picking a fight. Two, somehow I don't see Jones as the martyring sort. Three, Obiwan still did not take down Vader, and taking down Vader would've only resulted in falling to the Dark Side when it actually happened.
But I think the evidence of the situation points to Jones not knowing what dah fudge he's talkin' about.

I don't understand why Joe was ever friends with Alex to begin with. I've seen a few of Rogan's videos and, for the most part, Rogan usually comes off as reasonable. Not all of his guests do, but he does, mostly. On the other hand, almost everything out of Alex Jones mouth is, at best, batshit crazy.
I agree with you there. I found it awfully strange. But after I listened to that specific episode when him and bravo were on, I gained a decent amount of respect for Jones (even if I don't agree with him) and a whole lot for Rogan because they were buddy buddy and enjoying their time together, even if their beliefs were two different things completely....
Then again I lost a lot of respect for Jones now that he took a jab at Rogan for the smallest thing.

Rogan never really picks sides, he tries to be friends with everyone, it's nearly impossible but for the most part I think he pulls it off. Having a lot of different people with different views on one podcast is very interesting.. instead of creating a bubble where everyone thinks the same way.

Regardless of whether he's conservative or not is kinda irrelevant. I actually agree with Alex Jones he seems to be a centre left libertarian. Reason Joe Ragan's popular and why I enjoy his podcast is because he's actually about free speech and willing to have guests on if they're interesting regardless of their crazy ideas and still have real conversations with them. Not many people with large platforms are willing to have "conversations" with people that either extreme left or right wing people without an agenda, prejudgment or an antagonistic approach. Point is he has conversations with interesting people not straight up interviews, debates or interrogations.

I think he just likes to let them talk, and he just gives them enough rope to show how crazy they are and if was overly confrontation I doubt a lot of the people wouldn't do his show
U dont watch joe he doesnt go out of his way to argue he tries to mostly find middle ground, something us americans should try to do more often. And when someone says something out of line he calls them out

Dear Bernie-crats, during the 2012 election I was one of you. I fought for bernie, i had the bumper sticker and everything. Being a bernie-crat means that you acknowledge that there are inherent problems with the system. I did some reading and growing and now I am a Marxist-Leninist, but my underlying philosophies have not changed since 2016. I am not here to say I am wiser than you, just that I've been lucky enough to stumble across ideas that changed my views. I heavily encourage all Bernie-crats to dig deep into UA-cam to find videos from Xexizy, Bad Mouse Productions, or even Libertarian Socialist Rants about capitalism.
