    So I’m 42, and back in the day when I was a kid in the 90s, we used either synthetic or human hair for braids. I searched human hair box braids and this popped up along with a few other videos… I home they make this a thing again.

    3 hairstyles in 1, that's exactly why I want to do it with human hair too. To have a more sew in look I think you could have left pieces of human hair out along the braid kinda like goddess braids

    Thank you for this video. I have had sooo many braiding hairstyles before and i agreed with everything you said. For me, I want the kenekolon synthetic hair looking braids with the natural wavy ends from human hair to make it look like a sow-in. The wave isn’t the same with synthetic hair. And i still want a protective style and not have to worry about a leave out from a sow- in. You also can’t get human hair more than 18 inches so this also helps with being able to get a good long length. Im Also going to JA and i want to Able yo get my hair wet lol This video was perfect and exactly what i was looking for. Your hair came out beautiful !

    Hi. Loved your video. I have natural hair and can't seem to do anything with it. I want to put braids in but not rot familiar with braiding hair. I tried using the synthetic hair which irritated my scalp really bad. I was thinking about using Human Hair instead. Do you have any suggestions on which type of Human Hair I can use. Thank you

    • @MieshaMarie
      @MieshaMarie  2 роки тому

      I don't use it a lot so I wouldn't know what kind to tell you to use. Most people use human hair for micro/smaller braids though if that's all you'll be using. Braiding with human hair is a bit tricky though bc it's a lot silkier than synthetic hair. good luck on which ever brand you decide to use.

    Thanks for sharing the positive of having knot less braids and human hair. I like 👍 the ends. Do you have to tie a knot on the end? Would it work to do hot water method?

    • @MieshaMarie
      @MieshaMarie  2 роки тому

      I did tie a knot at the ends but if I had to do it again I would use a dot of nail glue to secure it. You don't have to use hot water on the ends. it's wet and wave so water or conditioner will do just fine

    • @MieshaMarie
      @MieshaMarie  2 роки тому

      The expressions hair has more texture and allowed for a better grip when braiding it with my own hair. I know I can't get the same look if I had started to that soft silky human hair. I ended with the human hair because it allowed the wet and wavy look that synthetic hair can't give. I've seen people braid and dip synthetic hair to give it waves but it's not the same
