i tried this recipe and it worked: (edible gum slime)
ingredients:
-hot water
-bubble gum (reccomend these long ones)
-coconut oil
-food coloring (optional)
First heat up the water in a kettle, then pour it into a bowl.
Put some gum in the hot water and let it sit for 20-30 minutes.
When it cools, knead it and add coconut oil for smoothness.
Add food coloring or paint. but if you want to eat the slime, i reccomend food coloring. only add paint if you'd only like to play with it.
Let it sit and enjoy your slime!

Even if it hasn’t been chewed, imagine how sticky it is. Gum gets sticky when wet like that, and then it leaves a horrible sticky residue on your hands too
