Not sure how the openrlink can be described as not very intuitive and the gear selector next to the indicator is a non problem after about 5 minutes with the car. Had mine 11 months. Cracking car.
A superb review....Well done! I've just ordered the Top-of the -Range Iconic model in th UK (with that excellent Heat Pump). It was a straight choice between a Polestar 2 Tesla Model 3 or the Megane, both were the same price.....No contest! The sterile, poor build quality, horrid interior, ugly Tesla is so dated compared to the Renault. It's tech is so 'yesterday'. Brilliant move by Renault going to the experts, Google! (You can't beat Phone Tech). By the way, Renault say the 0-60 time is 7.5 Sec, but independent reviewers have clocked it at 6.9 Sec (that's Mini Cooper S territory, but with that lovely instant torque).......how typically French, underplaying!
The Android Automotive is the most intuitive infotainment I've used imo. Regardless of the car brand it's in. In the Renault you even have the stalk to control radio, music and volume. And if you buy the Iconic you get a fantastic cabin which easily rivals the Nissan Aryia.
Sadly my ETech is in the repair shop. The week long diagnosis has confirmed a fault in the traction motor and as a result we need to order this component. These are on Back Order and I know of others with same issue not having there cars back since April😮.
Something I can’t understand…these new EV’s are 3m/KWh… my 5 year old outdated EV returns around 5-6 m/KWh… are they now too heavy so they need a massive motor to pull the suckers to 60mph in 7seconds etc
Around the streets. Towns, cities. Stop-start, 20-30mph zones, basically. It is a weird phrase when you think about it, because a car has doors. 😂 Mark.
The best looking EV in it's class IMO.
FS.. Mark how many looks can one man have in a UA-cam video 😂 but still best car reviews.🥰
Lol! IKR! This was filmed over a period of about 2 months, for various boring reasons. Thanks for the kind words too. 😁🙏
This is for the gay fans hehe
Hair/Beard continuity issues here :) Nice use of lard
Mark great review best reviewer out there ❤
@@susanpritchard6164 Thank you. :-D Mark.
Im so tempted to get this for my 1st electric car

Finally this style is back!

I have a techno in the garage now, it is just great :)
@@Brandofviti Great choice bro👍
Having seen a few on the roads, it does look great. Enjoyed the video.

Good to see the green screen back! Well, we can't SEE it but you know what I mean.
Love a booot .How was the Google assist? Can you do voice control, man?
You can change volume and radio on the stalk
Any MY25 Megane owners confirm if they have fixed the grabby brakes some reviewers mention in earlier reviews?
Sadly my ETech is in the repair shop. The week long diagnosis has confirmed a fault in the traction motor and as a result we need to order this component. These are on Back Order and I know of others with same issue not having there cars back since April😮.
Was it obviously that there was a problem with the car, any warning lights etc?
There's no such issue with the Megane. I suspect you made this up entirely.
You have got the dc cover in the charge port upside down. So your AC charger won’t plug in. Rooky error.

Impressive
It’s a good buy. Goodbye! 😂😂😂
Don't think i have seen another EV with only 1 proper cup holder..how bizarre.
The dash looks like the Renault’s in the 90’s 🙈
Massiver ? What on Earth does massiver mean?
Get used to breakdowns and big garage bills.
My Zoe does not had breakdowns, only 3 garage bills: tyres, oil brakes and software update.
you get a like for effort.
I’ll take that. Next stage: quality, insight and maybe hair. But probably not. Mark.
French car - all electric = very nervous owner
Another video stated the electrics and some other components actually made in Germany.
@@FéargalO Wonder why?
First lol.
May I ask, what does it mean when you are driving around the doors?

@@vanaramauk Thank you, I did think that's what it meant. Cheers to you, I really enjoy your reviews. Thanks again.
