I made myself a coffee but I didn't have money to go and buy some bread....I had lots os blueberries in the refrigerator so I found this video and made this recipe in the form of muffins and with wheat flour. They came out delicious. My two daughters loved them. Thank you Beth, you're the best!!!

This is arguably one of the best cakes I've ever made. The consistency is outstanding. I've made a banana and choc chip one, and also made it using amaretto liquor instead of almond extract. The 'sponge' of the cake itself can sell itself alone without any fillings. Once again, the consistency is unmatched.

+Roz Sa Aww so glad you enjoyed it Roz! This is my go-to fave as well. It's so light and moist and SO easy, that's the best part! Ha! Love the idea of the amaretto liquor! :)

Made this cake today for Mother's Day and it was such a hit and very delicious! Easy to make too. Only thing I had to bake mine a little longer as I did it in a Paderno spring form pan. Will definitely make this again and often since blueberries are always available. Thanks again Beth ♥

Sure or even better use a little pure lemon extract that would be yummy too! :)

I LOVE this recipe! But I do not have a 10 in. deep dish tart pan - instead I have a regular 10 in. tart pan! Would it be okay to bake it in the regular tart pan?

Kawaii Tina Oh sure! I would just half the recipe though. Or better yet make 2! :)

Entertaining With Beth if I make it with a regular 9 1/2" tart pan, not the deep one, how would the baking time change?

Ahhh I felt stupid now; I thought this was some new take on a "Blueberry AND Tea" flavor cake... (I love milk tea and to an extend the flavor of tea itself... perhaps you can do some experimental stuff? I do always enjoy your video.)
