Glad you love your new desk! I actually built a countertop ikea desk shortly after your first video and I've been loving it. Lots of room, and even though my cable management isn't great, I don't care too much. But we all need what's best for us so very happy you could make the change :)

I actually got a pretty similar looking standing desk, and it's the perfect size and height to fit over my bed so I have a decent over bed desk that can hold my weight if I fall on it and just 10/10 would recommend to fellow disabled bed bound people as they are soooo much better and more functional than the strictly over bed desks you find online. And like mine fits over a whole queen size adjustable extra tall bed and it's still plenty of room for pets to hang out under. It being electric also means you just push a button and it goes to where you want it. It's very heavy so you'd need help putting it together initially but it's so worth it.

Back in the Work From Home days I did a very similar desk upgrade! From the bolted on power strip to the Monitor and mic swivel arms. Only real difference is that I bought a 62 x24 in (157x60cm) Wood Top Workbench by Husky that is Adjustable by a hand crank to save a little bit of money. But, honestly because its a hand crank it took all the joy out of adjusting it lol
