If what Bethesda says (whether you still trust them or not is up to you) is true, TES6 is going to be a massive game, way more likely to come to next gen consoles than the current gen. This means that Bethesda could have both provinces in their full glory in one game, and I think that would be the best case. High Rock is a smaller province, and I don't know if it has enough area for an big game like TES6, and while Hammerfell is larger, alot of it is desert. Having both would not only satiate the need for a large world, but it would also satisfy everyone. The people who want a more typical fantasy get High Rock to explore, and the people who want something a bit different have Hammerfell. This also gives alot of story and roleplaying possiblities too. Like imagine becoming a knight-errant from High Rock crossing into Hammerfell to to help people in need. Then you get embroiled in a conflict with the Thalmor over there, and depending on what happens, it effects High Rock in some way. Having both High Rock and Hammerfell would be amazing IMHO. I’d rather Hammerfell than High Rock. High Rock is boring, it is literally every other RPG setting ever including Oblivion (which didn’t go hard enough on the Colovian and Nibenese cultural differences to instead go basic European). Instead, we can get a rarely seen setting that is the home of important places such as Sentinel, Volenfell, and Rihad; with the possibility of DLC in Stros M’Kai, or delving into the history of Yokuda, or fighting Thras. Honestly, both would be the preference, but if I had to choose, I would far rather Hammerfell.
The Royal Family of Evermore has 2 sad/dark stories around the city. One story involves the princess at Sentinel Woods and the other involves the prince at the cemetery.

The Elder Scrolls is older than Game of Thrones. I actually didn't know that, learned it googling out of curiosity. High Rock is a place you can visit in the first game, released in 1994. Two years before the first GoT was released, and in the middle of the period in which GRRM was writing the first book. I wonder if Highrock is a reference?

Will it continue with the Thalmor plot, or will there be another giant time-jump as between ES4&5. It also depends on the type of NPC (race, vampire, soul owned by a daedra, etc) and also where the next game is set. If ES6 is set in Hammerfell and the civil war has the Empire winning in cannon, then it could be possible that many Talos worshippers would flee there as refugee's - including some named NPC's that supported Ulfric. There are so many posibilties and I would love to get your take on it. Possible video even. *A list of NPC's that have appeared in more than one Elder Scrolls game* (not counting daedra and other beings of that type) Jiub, Karstaag, Ulfgar the Unending, Neloth Telvanni, Lucien Lachance, Dervenin, Elante of Alinor, Falx Carius, Gratian Caerellius, Sinderion. Even the Champion of Cyrodiil returns in Skyrim as Sheogorath.
I think Hammerfel is divided into three plus biomes, desert in the centre, carribean on the coast lines and boreal mountains bordering Highrock/Cyrodil
I don't dont think it's heresy I like the settings. it's just Bethesda has been doing it for the past two games (water down skyrim) and I would like to see something new and not Oblivion 2 electric boogaloo.
I love the real life connections The Elder Scrolls Races/Cultures have with our world. They are their own fictional races but their also a reflection of multiple races in our history. My favorite race is the Nords but my favorite province is Cyrodiil.
One thing I like a lot about TES is how you can mostly never be certain about events. I heard one time that fell, like in volenfell. Don't come from english but from elvish, and it means kingdom. So Volenfell mean kingdom of Volen or kingdom of hammer. So that thing of the dagger may be just false. Maybe the king just liked the idea of naming his realm after some weapon, maybe he really liked daggers, or maybe he for some reason was called "the dagger" or something. and them in the future people try to guess why would he name the realm like that and just look to hammerfell and supose it's the same history
This is exactly why I want to see the next game in Highrock PLEASE let me play as a Machiavellian and Manipulative, Scheming Sorcerer, Littlefinger style
I have a little house in Rivenspire it's really quite a lovely place to live with it's crystal clear rivers and nice weather. The only bad thing about Rivenspire is all the damn vampires!
I want Highrock to be the next Elder Scrolls 6 location because I love the Breton medieval style kingdoms been a game of thrones marrying cousins and other relatives to keep the power in the family and been opportunistic people. To me the Bretons are the most versatile race in the Elder Scrolls been mages, thieves, knights, battlemages whatever they remind me a lot of modern humans we are very versatile some better at some stuff than others but we have the potential to learn whatever skill we want, learn different language and even pick up things from different cultures. I think one thing the Elder Scrolls should have is romances not just do a quest for a person and instantly marry them you have to build a relationship up with them and you can be lovers and marry, also have children the traditional way people know what I mean or adopt children say if your character for some reason can't have kids, if the person you marry can't, if you have a same sex marriage or if you just want to adopt so sort of have the romances be sort of like Fable but more advanced
The richness of Breton lore and of High Rock is precisely why Bugthesda will _never_ make a game set there post-Daggerfall as long as Howard and Hines are in charge. Creativity and detail are dirty words to them when they could be making shooters that masquerade as RPGs they can also monetize the hell out of. If we want a TES title even half as good as Skyrim, much less older games, then there has got to be a changing of the guard in the company.
Hey guys, i first want to say im a huge fan and love all your videos, keep it up! Im going to need to watch this a few more times to get a grasp on everything. The first-ever TES game I played is TES 4, and since then, I have always believed I will be a Breton if I was to be incarnated in the world of Nirn. They're my most favored race.

Basically Tamriel provinces and their IRL counterparts: Highrock: Ancient Britons Cyrodiil: Mediterranean cultures, specifically the Romans Skyrim: A mix of Scandinavian cultures, mostly Norway Hammerfell: Middle Eastern cultures Blackmarsh: Doesn't have much of a counterpart, but there's a hint of Ancient Latin America in there
What is the first Outer Worlds build that you would like? I would like a Predator like build, With mix of stealth (active camo if possible) , blades, shoulder and wrist gun(if possible), and frontal offense with guns gadgets and grenades, in short, similar to the movie.
What's sad is that Bethesda will most likely butcher the High Rock lore like they did Skyrim's and simplify all the political intrigue stuff, and as long as Emil still writes the storyline it'll be just another shitty power fantasy. Oh what I wouldn't give to have an Elder Scrolls game written by Kirkbride or at least someone who knows the bloody lore enough...
I agree. Both Oblivion and Skyrim just don't care about the lore. You read the books and then see the world and they don't really feel like they are one and the same. Bethesda screwed over Cyrodiil's internal conflict between Nibenese and Colovian cultures, and just omitted the Nordic Pantheon in Skyrim (well, they mention Shor like twice in the game, but that's it), among other stuff. They insist on making generic fantasy games in a world full of lore they don't respect. Ah, Morrowind, I really miss thee...
@@ultimate90sgamer17 I did for a lot of hours already. But that's not the point, the point is the last two games, while bringing the frachise forwards in terms of game mechanics (I, for one, think each game was better than the previous one in that sense), were incredibly lacking in a solid, orignal settings and main stories.

This video reaaally has me wanting to watch another one like this, but on the subject of the ESO Aldmeri Dominion's capitol province. Pleaaase make one :3
Imagine the Asoiaf like quests! I really hope TES 6 will be High Rock or the Illiac Bay. Hammerfell will be a bit too bland and sandy in my opinion. One of my least favorite areas in ESO.
I personally would not like High Rock, partly due to a more narrow and linear region and partly due to the European influence we have already had with the last two games. A game set in Hammerfell should hopefully have the bonus of Orsinium if it is set shortly after Skyrim since it is on the border of Hammerfell and Skyrim at this time.
How would it? There is more political intrigue in High Rock compared to Skyrim, plus being ambitious is sorta a thing with Bretons. By comparison, Skyrim is more straightforward.
I'd say the opposite really. I mean, Skyrim and Hammerfell both have two major political parties, for Skyrim it's the civil war between the Imperial supporters and the Stormcloak supporters, Hammerfell has the Crowns and the Forebears who have it heavily separated in terms of views just like in Skyrim(With the same views as those in Skyrim) while High Rock is on a level of it's own as far as politics goes making both Hammerfell and Skyrim look like childsplay. For religion I'd say it's on par with High Rock. Since both have different ideas and names from the "norm". Geography is another one that is on a higher level for High Rock being similar to that of Cyrodiil, having a bit of everything that is. Hammerfell geographically is more like the mirror of Skyrim, instead of a cold tundra we have a hot desert. Both have mountain areas, Skyrim has forest where as Hammerfell has palm coast, cold plains to grasslands, marshes/wetlands for small islands(Don't mean this as a one for one trade, just that in terms of biomes, neither is exactly a melting-pot of variation), I mean given the creatures in Hammerfell, we'd pretty much be getting the bastard child of Skyrim and fallout 4/3. While with High Rock at least there'd be a good variation in both regions and creatures. There's also the whole possible Dragonborn to Sword-Singer thing and given Bethesdas obsession with making you the chosen one, that would be not only likely, but predictable, not even remotely a change of pace imo

Jiub, Karstaag, Ulfgar the Unending, Neloth Telvanni, Lucien Lachance, Dervenin, Elante of Alinor, Falx Carius, Gratian Caerellius, Sinderion. Even the Champion of Cyrodiil returns in Skyrim as Sheogorath.
Donal if it’s set in High Rock I would love for Odahviing to make a return near the border of Skyrim.
This may be Hersey to some but I’ll love to visit high rock, I’ll much prefer the medieval style architecture than the Deseret setting in hammerfall
I think Hammerfel is divided into three plus biomes, desert in the centre, carribean on the coast lines and boreal mountains bordering Highrock/Cyrodil
... what you mean "medieval style"? I do hope you know that medieval style doesn't only apply to euroesque architrcture of that period
I don't dont think it's heresy I like the settings. it's just Bethesda has been doing it for the past two games (water down skyrim) and I would like to see something new and not Oblivion 2 electric boogaloo.
A Song Of Elder Scrolls
I love the real life connections The Elder Scrolls Races/Cultures have with our world. They are their own fictional races but their also a reflection of multiple races in our history. My favorite race is the Nords but my favorite province is Cyrodiil.
I love to see that footage from ESO, very cool.
This is exactly why I want to see the next game in Highrock
PLEASE let me play as a Machiavellian and Manipulative, Scheming Sorcerer, Littlefinger style
I have a little house in Rivenspire it's really quite a lovely place to live with it's crystal clear rivers and nice weather.
The only bad thing about Rivenspire is all the damn vampires!
High Rock would be a nice choice for TES 6. The Breton's have some really good lore!
Lore will be paywalled behind 'storybook lootboxes' in TES6
11:33 "This kingdom was named Evermore"
Beyond Reach players: *1000 yard stare*
Daggerfall Unity with mods. There you go.
Its kind of hard to keep up with no map or a list. All of this is new info to me so 2 minutes after yu say a location or name ive forgotten and need to rewind.
The first-ever TES game I played is TES 4, and since then, I have always believed I will be a Breton if I was to be incarnated in the world of Nirn. They're my most favored race.
I can see mephala having some fun here.
Evermore is by far my favorite city-state in High Rock. Shornhelm would my second favorite.
A mount and blade type offshoot of elder scrolls would fit well with high rock,
If TES6 is indeed High Rock; PLEASE give us Orc Bois the Orsinium (or at least the ruins of) that we deserve.
I came here for that age old Breton Cheese. :-)
Thalmor: the Altmer are the purest race unlike filthy juvenile man
Breton: I exist because you couldn't keep it in your pants
Thalmor: Lies! Lies and slander!
This was a very interesting video of owl would be back to watch more this is a very intriguing video I had a good time watching it. Won't be back to watch more.
How much I hope elder scrolls vi is in high rock so much potential
Basically Tamriel provinces and their IRL counterparts:
Highrock: Ancient Britons
Cyrodiil: Mediterranean cultures, specifically the Romans
Skyrim: A mix of Scandinavian cultures, mostly Norway
Hammerfell: Middle Eastern cultures
Blackmarsh: Doesn't have much of a counterpart, but there's a hint of Ancient Latin America in there
High rock is mostly based of medieval Western Europe and the franks and the reach men are more like the Britons
My favorite race are the Breton and I really want to know all I can about them. Only problem is they're SO CONFUSING!!! 😂
What is the first Outer Worlds build that you would like? I would like a Predator like build, With mix of stealth (active camo if possible) , blades, shoulder and wrist gun(if possible), and frontal offense with guns gadgets and grenades, in short, similar to the movie.
There are no knighthood in elder scrolls except rhe child play breton lads and lasses indulge in sometimes. Great video
Drew is the best of the Muppets (no offense). I love how he tells stories.
Important decision: *exists*
Breton king: *Yeets a fuckin' tank* "Where'd it land?"
I like how reasonable the Direnni are compared to the other evles.
God bless you finally fucking using ESO footage
If we get es6 in high rock I hope Bethesda allows us to use diplomacy and war to rank up in nobility and possibly become king
I can't wait to raise all types of hell in high rock as an Orc
Always funny to hear news of reach men 😆 barbarians are always funny to see
What's sad is that Bethesda will most likely butcher the High Rock lore like they did Skyrim's and simplify all the political intrigue stuff, and as long as Emil still writes the storyline it'll be just another shitty power fantasy.
@@San_Vito why don't you just play Morrowind then?
@@ultimate90sgamer17 I did for a lot of hours already.
But that's not the point, the point is the last two games, while bringing the frachise forwards in terms of game mechanics (I, for one, think each game was better than the previous one in that sense), were incredibly lacking in a solid, orignal settings and main stories.
@@San_Vito I know a guy who supposedly works for Zenimax in some way (won't say what so his job isn't in jeopardy) who says that the writers have been changed around for the next elder scrolls. Not sure if he's reliable but I thought you would like to know so mabye you could be a little more optimistic for the future
@@ultimate90sgamer17 zenimax is ruining bethesda, zenimax needs to let bethesda go
I really hope u can become king or a lord in TES6
This video reaaally has me wanting to watch another one like this, but on the subject of the ESO Aldmeri Dominion's capitol province.
Pleaaase make one :3
U manage to find the time no player online to record, good job XD
Almost thought it was Josh talking, for a second.
Helleuw french medieval kingdoms!!!! 😃😃
@Wirr Ling you are correct :P
"In summary, shit's confusing" 😂
does the unoffical skyrim patch nerf necromage vampyre?
“Hit them from the rear”
Hmmm I wonder why this interested me…
*The Lannisters send their regards*
Reminds me of Feudal Britain.
Breton masta race!
Just started game of throne books
Must I say it again. Necromancy please I need it to live haha
Is being a daedric artifact worth it?
Scratches my neck* i kinda need more videos
Imagine the Asoiaf like quests! I really hope TES 6 will be High Rock or the Illiac Bay. Hammerfell will be a bit too bland and sandy in my opinion. One of my least favorite areas in ESO.
Hammerfell is not entirely desert, that is just Alik'r and smaller deserts near it, most of eastern hammerfell are forests and plains
What if its the lands of both High Rock and Hammerfell in Elder Scrolls VI?
That already happened (sort of) in TES 2: Daggerfall.
Do outher worols builds pls.
*_Ho-Hey sweet lady of Wayrest! Ho-hey sweet lady of mine!_*
*_Oh I'll see you again, yes I'll see you again! Sweet lady of Wayrest so fine!_*
High Rock would be too similar to Skyrim. Hammerfell would be a nice change of pace.
Finally they're using ESO clips!
Eso is still shit
He was forced since we never see high rock in any games.
@@viveka2994 man, you have Vivec from eso in your pic.
@@handsdown3521 oh yeah lmao, but thats because of the higher res vivec
A Breton always pays his debts
Has Waywrest been rebuilt after being attacked in the 4E?
Funny how you didn't mention Orsinium
just play tes2 daggerfall you get a bit of high rock and hammerfell
So the Republic of Dave could exist in High Rock
Where are the outer worlds builds
Who are the tereni elves?
Wasn't there a elf queen that ruled one of the Kingdoms of high rock after her breton husband died
Oh hey hey
