Here in Brazil we have several reports of the Book3 Ultra screen cracking. Samsung says the same thing about being misused and denies the warranty.
Our theory in the case of the GB3U is that if you close it while it is still hot, the screen will expand due to the heat of the metal frame, so the the glass will expande and it will be compressed in the frame, which make it to crack.
Almost all of the reports we have were in this scenario, they are using the GB3U, close it, and so when they open it the next day it is cracked.
Clearly this is a product engineering failure, but Samsung refuses to acknowledge it.

I'm facing a similar issue here in India. Unfortunately, they refused to cover it under warranty. I believe we should file a complaint against Samsung for this. The judiciary process might be slow here, but I'll definitely pursue it. It's a significant waste of both money and time on this product. To me, it seems like a fundamental design flaw. Even a tiny speck of dust can cause the laptop to crack when closed.

I don't understand how they can get away with it. I wish a journalist would get on to this. The unfortunate clients don't have the choice. It's, no computer or repair! They're paying 500€ - 900€ for repairs or replacement!

@@DavidTomlinsonTipsforTalksI am engaging with people that are with the same issue here on Brazil. We are trying to gather people to sue them together

Same thing here in the UK. I one handed picked up my Book 3 pro 360 £1849 4 month old laptop after a days work, and I heard a strange delaminating type sound, almost like something unsticking, didn’t think much of it. Next day I opened the laptop, i was greeted with a cracked screen. I’ve tried and tried with Samsung over the phone and email and they have been just terrible. They say it’s my fault and they want £576 to fix it. There is clearly an issue when reading so many other people’s experiences!

Just happened to me. I'm beyond upset as I really take very good care of my stuff. Never any physical issues.

I bought the new Galaxy Book 4 Ultra just a week ago, and my screen is already cracked; it has been on my desk the whole time!! I'm so sad that I bought it to complete my Samsung ecosystem and within week Im encountering this problem.

I have the same issue in Norway with book 3 360. Our company bought one a year ago and after 9 month of use the screen broke by itself. And the support from Samsung doesn't answer.

My Galaxy Book 4 Pro has developed a crack down the screen after less than 4 months; I've treated it the same as the Samsung NP900X4C that I had for 12 years previously without damage. I wish that I'd seen these reports on-line before buying, but I foolishly assumed that a £1,500 notebook would be fit for purpose. There is clearly an inherent fault with these screens, and Samsung should issue a recall and replace the screens with a more resilient design (if that's possible).
Update: I've pursued this to the bitter end with Samsung (as I bought it on-line from the Samsung Shop) and they don't want to know. I'm wondering what to do next. But no way am I paying for a repair as (a) it's Samsung's fault, and (b) a repair would simply put it back how it was - too fragile to be fit for purpose.
