They’re less tropical house though, your best bet is looking up tropical house mixes. Another beach sunset vibe but more afrobeat style is “KiDi & Tyga - Touch it (remix)”
90's soul house DOES make sense....it's what served as the creative inspiration. Jazz, hip hop, soul, funk, classical, swing- it all can be inspiration. Expand your mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It just a tribute to old masters. That intro has been a truly inspiration for many of us and it's a clear tribute to Erick Morillo, who always started his sets with this kind of soul samples.
I’m not here to criticize because I’m mr. Nobody compared with Cassimm and I appreciate him especially as a producer. But this is not the first big name DJ disappointing me. Is not for technical reasons as other say, not every DJ should do tricks a la James Hype, which really get me annoyed after a while. Is more about the overall flow, which I find it pretty flat. I try to bring more up and down in my set, more emotional contrasts between songs, still maintaining a coherent Tech House vibe set.
