      My grandfather was named Breen, and from Ireland. So I wonder if we are related. So cool, I randomly came across Dan Breen online by accident.

      That is something to be proud of, i believe that a person with a brave relative or similar feels that he must not let the name down, and it stiffens his backbone.. I remember an Australian soldier, a prisoner of war, a friend of my parents refused to bow to japanese guard and was beat to the ground. My distraught mother said, “in Gods name Mr Ferry, wht wouldn’t you bow and save yourself,” ‘i couldn't do that - i was an ANZAC.’
