Another tutorial. This time on a set of moves that I believe is over looked alot. These 3 counts, flustration, orion and rhumba count are ways for us magicians to keep things a secret and create miracles with out alot of work. Or sometimes with but really its all about the counts today. In the comments let me know what you think and how you use these counts if you use them!
Also Lost Art is selling all downloads for 50% OFF!!! just enter lost4half at the check out and thats it!!

Much like my obsession with cookies and beany babies, i keep the rhumba count to myself.

PigCake someday I'm going to show someone I know my card skills and they will probably think I learned over night. #LotsOfLonelySaturdaynights

It's so hard to not show anyone at all though :P I've had the same thoughts haha. But I mean practicing on how people perceive what you do can only really be done in front of people. And then they can comment or like hmm I just saw the edge of your vanish because the my hand was tilted a bit forward or something.

We need a test trick to indicate how perceptive a spectator is. I always get someone who is too smart for there own good or someone who just doesn't get the trick. I know it's partly my fault for not taking to the streets tho.

Thought the flustration count was called the olram subtlety. Thats what i learned it as. But maybe the OS refers to a trick using the flustration count. Anyway I like it.

Seriously i think the flushtration count is the worst count i've tried to do it 10 times and i've been caught every single time cauz it's not «moving» enought like the rhumba count

On the Rhumba Count I found out that if you pinch(without too much pressure on the cards, friction should do the whole work) the cards with just the tip of the thumb and only 2 fingers on the other side of the card is a lot smoother because it's less friction between the top card and the others. Also during the hand turning motion a loose grip on the packet(combined with the pinching) keeps the rest of the packet together and slightly opening the holding hand(and lowering it just a little) helps not to split the packet.

The Bicycle Inspires by Pandrea are some of my favourite cards at the moment. Such a simple, unassuming design with a nice little trick to them. I've had people fully inspect the cards and not catch anything fishy :). Also, huge fan of the "Queen of Hearts" as a fake reveal as to how you can tell what their card is. Always makes for a good laugh when you do a second deal to swap the two queens back and forth.
