Thank you, Nicky for this lovely video. A friend bought me here and we had an amazing adventure. The sky was blue and everything was calm and suddenly the gods sent a storm over the hills behind Cimbrone. Winds blew crockery etc from the outside tables set for a wedding while we fled to the cloister. That was short lived so the next obvious place was the lower cloister you showed at the end of the video. From there we viewed the thunder and lightening over the countryside. It was spectacular and finished as quickly as it came. On my return to London I met an Italian woman who came from Ravello. I asked her about all the holes in brick work entrance of the infinity terrace. Aparently there was a fierce fight here in the garden between the Germans and the partisans and these were the bullet holes. Did you notice them?
The villa ,gardens and the views are breathtaking thank you What are the hanging purple white flowers called almost looks like the entrance to the secret garden❤️
Wonderful video. Next time you will be in Naples I suggest you to visit the Bosco di Capodimonte, the Orto Botanico and the Villa Floridiana. It's a safe bet they would remind you of England, I think so. Comunque brava! :)
Memories of Villa Cimbrione and the Russian wedding with €2M fireworks up the Skies of Ravello, is some thing we experienced from the sea on s speed boat by night enroute to Positano, I will never ever forget those moments
There are many gardens in Italy and in my opinion far more better than the gardens in England. Amazing architecture. You just have to do your research. The garden of Villa D'Este in Tivoli is beautiful.

My husband and I loved Villa Cimbrone and Ravello as a whole. The gardens were not crowed the day we went in early June and the weather was perfetto!

Absolutely stunning. We visited Ravello, however did not get to enjoy the beauty of the Gardens of Villa Cimbrone.
