Totally agree with you on the blinking light. I asked them the same thing, and I think a few other users as well. Let's hope they make this optional in a future software update. The security "excuse" does not make much sense to me. It is the opposite. When the light is always blinking I might get so used to it, I won't notice one day it is off. When something would start blinking one day, to warn me the camera is off, then I certainly would notice.

Thank you for your video. Today I removed the microSD card from the AIO-5 to put a larger card in. Then I looked at the contents of the old MicroSD card on the computer. It has a number of folders one of which is called Datalog. In it are a number of *.log files which when viewed with a text viewer are delimited text files.
I tried importing them into Excel to view them but just got a mess of information on the screen.
I'm wondering if anyone has successfully viewed them and if so, with which app? And what info is it recording?
