Very very cool video you put together. I'm a nostalgia geek and I just love to see everything from the past. I love silent movies and old b&w movies.! I think I get more out of a silent movie that I do with a movie that has all the sounds and the special effects. And looking at old b&w photos you can see where your ancestors have come from and how they lived and what society was like. It was so much more a simpler back then.
These are great looking pictures, with no added colors that smear the real picture, I mean, they may have been in color in present day, but color was not in the development yet, thank you paperjam. Joe.
Your caption of “YMCA football team 1920” is incorrect. It is a basketball team. The uniforms and, more importantly, the basketball in the front of the players are giveaways.

Very nice. Tip: White text on white area of a photo is not readable. Add a dark outline to the text.
