The captions are pretty close in essence to what Rumi has written, however the translation for the word 'raghss' which normally means dance is out of place. The word ' rotation ' is closer to what he is saying. Persian is a contextual language and almost impossible to translate to any other language as words and phrases mean different things at different times. Khayam also has pointed to the helplessness of the universe to organize its chaos in one his Rubayats, he was a polymath and an astronomer as well as a poet and a philosopher.
Totally agree! Persian words can't be translated into one simple English word that captures the complex essence of words and phrases. No translation will be as elegant in structure and meaning as the original.
Rotating, or English synonyms spinning, or whirling, seems like a powerful image given that Rumi originated the practice of the whirling dervishes. I appreciate your thoughts.
Beloved #Rumi is truly brilliant and inspiring. Deeply grateful for sharing this prayer. 🙏🏼 Say I Am You I am dust particles in sunlight. I am the round sun. To the bits of dust I say, Stay. To the sun, Keep moving. I am morning mist, and the breathing of evening. I am wind in the top of a grove, and surf on the cliff. Mast, rudder, helmsman, and keel, I am also the coral reef they founder on. I am a tree with a trained parrot in its branches. Silence, thought, and voice. The musical air coming through a flute, a spark of a stone, a flickering in metal. Both candle and the moth crazy around it. Rose, and the nightingale lost in the fragrance. I am all orders of being, the circling galaxy, the evolutionary intelligence, the lift, and the falling away. What is, and what isn't. You who know Jelaluddin, You the one in all, say who I am. Say I am You. ― Rumi 🌏
Looped this as I slept. I had the most unusual dream . I feel intense heat as the wind is blowing violently in my face. I manage to open my eyes . I'm tied to post sitting on a massive concrete pillar. Im without clothes and a single tear is rolling down my cheek in slow motion. I manage to raise my head and I see something in the distance. Its another concrete pillar and a woman is tied on it as I am. I call out to her but the distance is so vast that she cannot hear my voice. I only make out a female's silhouette and her long hair swaying in the wind. I hear something approaching and I look skyward and something is descending from the clouds. I try to gaze upon it and a blast of warm air slams against my body. I try again to call out to the woman but the vast ocean separates us and my sounds aren't heard. That's my dream. I wake up as I hear a boom . I wake up and it a trash truck dropping a dumpster across the street.
I am the servant of the Qur'an as long as I have life. I am the dust on the path of Muhammad, the Chosen one. If anyone quotes anything except this from my sayings, I am quit of him and outraged by these words. - Rumi

Truly a master piece! Thank you!
every tiny piece of this song screams the richness of GREAT PERSIAN culture.
Mevlananın nasıl hangi dilde söylediğine değil ne söylediğine insanlar bakıyor. Adam uzak doğudan bu şiirlere bakıp ne etkileyici bir dil yahu mutlaka bu dili araştırmalıyın demiyor ki olayın felsefesine bakıyor. O yıllarda mevlananın atomdan haberinin olması inanılmaz birşey.
Merci infini Armand amar💜

You are most welcome.@@danielmontgomery2357

Say I Am You
I am dust particles in sunlight.
I am the round sun.
To the bits of dust I say, Stay.
To the sun, Keep moving.
I am morning mist, and the breathing of evening.
I am wind in the top of a grove, and surf on the cliff.
Mast, rudder, helmsman, and keel,
I am also the coral reef they founder on.
I am a tree with a trained parrot in its branches.
Silence, thought, and voice.
The musical air coming through a flute,
a spark of a stone, a flickering in metal.
Both candle and the moth crazy around it.
Rose, and the nightingale lost in the fragrance.
I am all orders of being, the circling galaxy,
the evolutionary intelligence, the lift,
and the falling away. What is, and what isn't.
You who know Jelaluddin, You the one in all,
say who I am. Say I am You.
― Rumi

so very beautiful
Stunning

GOOSEBUMPS!!!
I am the servant of the Qur'an as long as I have life.
I am the dust on the path of Muhammad, the Chosen one.
If anyone quotes anything except this from my sayings,
I am quit of him and outraged by these words. - Rumi
You bastards won't understand this ever but keep marketing their words by unknowingly
Wow.... Persian is the most impressive language in the world like their culture it is. it’s soft sweet and sexy
The World is sexy. The Life is it. Every Human is it. Every Atom is it
Sexy?! You must be a very sick person! Go ahead !
O danu, svani! atomi plešu
s dušama, izgubljenim u zanosu, plešu.
Na uho ću ti šapnuti kuda vodi ples.
Svi atomi što nastavaju zrak i pustinju
dobro znaju da su obuzeti poput nas
i da je svaki atom sretan il' nesretan
zaglušen suncem posvemašnje Duše
