Sam Reid and the show runner have already clarified that Lestat had nothing to do with Paul’s death.
Why do I still not trust them? My mind is made up, even if it's wrong. 😂
@@krazykaye8843 I mean even the book said Lestat had nothing to do with it. You have to keep in mind Louis brother already was struggling with mental health issues and it was almost day time as well when he jumped off
@@rach2755 I know it doesn't make sense, for some reason I just choose to believe Lestat is that toxic. Also, I've never read the books and that would probably change my mind as to his innocence. I'm just stubborn. 😂

• “rashid? i thought he was armand?” armand the vampire pretended for all of season 1 (until like the last 5 minutes) to be louis’ assistant ‘rashid’ basically to not let daniel (the interviewer) know that he was there.. until they /wanted/ him to know!! armand wanted to just shadow the interview until he didn’t like how it was going & so now we see him interjecting
• “how have they never crossed any other vampires yet?” from what lestat said there’s only about 100 vampires out there & most aren’t… ones you want to know
• “is she allowing them to sit & eat even though they’re soldiers?!” yes the lady & everyone basically has to appease by the soldiers because they kinda are being taking over.. so she can’t force them out but still shows she isn’t liking/approving them
• “whats a red?” basically that guy was asking louis if he’s a communist or not.. basically asking if he’s a sympathizer with the soldiers
• that gross ass creature is/was a vampire!! in the books they’re called “revenant” vampires.. either vamps that went crazy after being turned but now in the show they might have turned liek that because of the blood they drink in that town is rotten due to all the stress/hate/pain from the war
• “why would she do that?!?” the crusty lady vamp basically killed herself because claudia & louis explained to her that there’s no hope living there because the blood is bad.. so she admitted defeat & just ended her life instead of trying a new life away from her homeland
• “what’s the name of hiding the pages of the diary” for no spoilers.. you were right armand is very protective of louis but it’s also within armand’s own benefit & agenda!!! he’s not as loud as lestat.. but armand’s a tea pot nearly bubbling over & steaming so yeaah…watch out louisss 🫣❤️🔥
Idk…I heard Armand is 10x crazier than Lestat. In the books. I can only imagine where they will take this on the show

@@wwhn yeah, Armand makes Lestat's toxicity look like kindergarten.... In the books, anyways. Armand is extremely abusive and has a truckload of trauma himself. I'm not a book reader so I don't actually know a huge amount of the specific details... But the very little that I have heard from book readers...oh boy!... I'm extremely interested to see how they're going to adapt him in the show.
Thankfully, from what I've seen of interviews with the actor who plays Armand in the show... he has a very VERY good understanding of who the character is and all of his trauma and insecurities and desperation... So he's in good hands, I think! ...I feel comfortable with the character in his hands, anyway.

Claudia is so mad because she knows deep down he’s still sad about Lestat & it’s annoying to her. They left America to go find new lives and new vampire friends and Louie’s brought Lestat with them, in his heart.

I think Claudia didn't trust Louis anymore, when he didn't kill lestat because she realized he will always be no.1 to Louis and she will alwzys be no.2. He couldn't fully kill him and free them both so now they have that threat looming + he's been haunted by lestat for 4 years so she can't forget about it. She's probably scared he'll leave her for lestat again because she's not enough for him as a "companion in immortality" while she only has him
i've never read the books but i've seen the movi and it's a classic i guess but i dont think you're missing out! i think it's great that you're watching with a brand new eye!!

@@wwhn yuppp. This season's Dreamstat is just Louis himself. Guilt and longing for sure. How we see Lestat is also how Louis imagines the mf to react and treat him. And so, even if he wants to believe Claudia is enough for him in this lifetime and tells her that, we see Lestat appear next to her. Louis def feels awful about it. You and me, me and you sounds more like he wanted to convince himself at that moment.

They can, but it doesn't taste like food. Louis described it as like chalk, soap, glue.
They haven't come across any vampires because the vampires in the area were ignorning them.

They didn't burn him because Louis is still in love with Lestat lmao. Perhaps his worst trait is his seeming refusal to make healthy choices. An important thing to remember about these characters is that we have only heard Louis's perspective (intersected with Claudia's) so far, and it is unclear how well Louis can remember, or if somebody else has played with his memory 👀👀
It actually plays a big role in the books as well, that they're all unreliable narrators.

This reaction was 50 shades of crazy, especially the assertion that Louis' sterile, "safe," relationship with Armand is better than his intensely passionate, intimate, epic relationship with Lestat. 😱 Can anyone picture Louis and Armand actually sharing a coffin together?
No, but Armand is sharing a pretty art filled mausoleum with a glitzed out coffin with chains on the side in a library with a computer set with wifi to share with Daniel hell yes. Armand will tolerate the drab technology so Daniel shares his "art" writing with the world and doesn't go nuts.
Oh boy... I can picture them sharing a coffin together but there may be the thing that coffins now have a triggering reaction for Louis especially after he gets trapped in a coffin as punishment by the theatre vampires (as stated in the book). But also later down the line Loumand go back to each other and have a pretty good relationship along with Armands kids... But we all have our opinions 🤷♂️

Yup, I’m all but certain that he was actually talking to Lestat. Something tells me no matter who he's saying those words to...Claudia...Armand...he's always speaking to the one who’s never far from his mind and heart. ❤

No, tbh if this show was like the average show , on CW it would’ve been fine. It’s amazing though, storyline and etc. When you take an average/okay looking stunt like that and put it in a show where everything else is just immaculate… it definitely seems out of place and cheesy- if that makes sense
