I worked at cold stone for a year and we didn't have to sing (thank gawd) & I got to volunteer as a delegation liaison for the special olympics for the country of Uruguay and it was such an amazing experience I'll be going to Germany next year for their winter games
My first summer job was volunteering as a camp counseller and now at 17 I'm working as a cashier in a shop by the beach where I have a holiday home living it up and feeling grateful
i have fourteen years old and i literally spend my summer watching friends while eating mcdonalds in my bed. i almost felt bad about myself but then i saw my mcchicken with my beautiful and salty french fries and i'm good now. i have a problem.
in high school we did work experience i worked in retail for 2 weeks since i was 18 I've worked in a pub im now 20,talking about cold stones singing when they get tipped reminded me of the coyote ugly bar in prague when they get tipped they ring the bell i ant to work there so much
Babysitting was my first summer job then camp counselor...my favorite was tutoring though cuz it made me feel smart and helpful to whoever i was tutoring.
The Utah thing happened to me too! I went to kindergarten in Utah where we were learning the alphabet and then I moved to Florida and everyone was already reading Junie B. Jones books and Charlottes Web. I was literally the only kid in my class who couldn't read.
I was a sailing instructor for kids ages 8 to 14. Best job ever (if you like sailing) I got to spend 6 hours a day out on the ocean or in the pond and sail all day, it was amazing
My only summer job was 3 years ago (I was in 10th grade) I work at a music industry. I mostly work inside the office (sometimes I go inside the studio too because I can play the piano because musicians would ask for a lot of suggestions from other people) but most of my works were putting data inside the computer 😂 I was 15/16.
My summer job is one part teaching people how to use computers, helping them apply for jobs online. Hopefully I will be doing children's stuff like a Summer Reading Challange and help running a play scheme.
I'm 20 and startef my first official summer job this week (I've had jobs like babysitting and barista jobs throughout the year) and the job is in retail and so far it's not great
Gahd this brought so many cringe worthy memories! Volunteering and summer Jobs were such traumatising experiences but still did just because I'm a masochist like that lol! Ps: Shanna is Hilarious
I actually work at an ice cream parlor ^-^ It's my fifth year there already and I love it. They make their own ice cream in store so you really get to know the product you're selling
One summer I was a summer custodian at a high school and me the other other young guy would find a hall that we already clean and would hide in it till lunch.
I would work in a sardine canning factory during the summer as a highschool student, it was awful. You basically smelled like rotting fish for a good 3 days after working there no matter how hard you scrubbed/how much body wash you used. The pay wasn't even that good either.
my summer job is doing research at a university. besides that ive had summeresk jobs not just in the summer. like my first job was at a candy store then a lot of retail and now food service
When I was younger during the summer the only thing people would do would update their MySpace😂😂 That or we would be watching Nickelodeon, Disney, Cartoon Network, and MTV.
Well, my last year's summer job was fucked up... Basically my supervisor was sick and another one had to take her place... and that guy was not in his best mental condition... He cried and yelled and in order to relax he binge-watched cat videos and talked about ice hockey.
Ohhhhh man I got so happy when I saw Shanna! I remember her from back when she did cameos on some of Shane Dawson's videos (but her accent is a lot stronger than I can remember it being). I've always wondered what she was up to these days, she's so funny! Great to see her on Clevver! :)
First job is the one I have now. I work at a burger joint that dates back to the 1960s pretty cool but I'm breaking out from being surrounded by grease 24/7
idk about the US but in england we can only get jobs at 16+ so we dont get summer jobs its mostly just part time jobs at college or whilst we go university, alot of kids work at supermarkets and retail etc we barely even have camps here
I'm an awful waitress too!!! I just started working in this French five star restaurant and I've already spilt wine and broke glasses and forgotten how to speak
I've had a couple of summer jobs but most my summers I spent at Speelplein wich is a sort of summer camp but without the nights. The kids go home after 18.00 h but it was a volunteer check you got so you wanted money this was not the job. but it looked good on my resume and i got my job after collage because of it well that and my degree ofcourse :p
me and my brother had a mowing service as kids, actually had to push the "push" mower and my brother carrying the electric trimmer and cord to houses around, made decent money for two kids, lol

"People have trusted me with their kids ........... May they rest in peace " 😂😂
8:26 OMG

Watching this again and I just realized the girl from andi mack or whatever the heck that show is is in this
I have been babysitting since I was like 13 or 14 and now I work in a childcare and I am studying to be a teacher. So I basically love kids.
Max and Caroline in the thumbnail though
Summer Camp Conceler should be written on my headstone when I die. I lived for that haha

Bring back the Jamaican girl for future episodes. Loved her in this episode
"i only like to babysit when the kid is perfect" done! hhahaha
I love how Shanna's accent changes after she visits her family
in high school we did work experience i worked in retail for 2 weeks since i was 18 I've worked
in a pub im now 20,talking about cold stones singing when they get tipped reminded me of the coyote ugly bar in prague when they get tipped they ring the bell i ant to work there so much
Shanna: "Lorenzo Williams. Yes, I still remember his name. That man was FIIIIIINE!"
one summer, one of my best friends worked at coldstone. we went in every day for like 2 weeks and tipped her every time so she'd have to sing lol
I'm 19 and never had a job
so do your parents pay for everything?
Me too
+Malle Linse yah
Go out and get some experience.
I'm 17 and have already had 2 jobs not including babysitting.
Ive had so many of these Jobs, plus being a golf caddie
I'm 18 and the only job I've ever had is babysitting. And before I moved from MN to CO I basically had a babysitting monopoly at my church.
Miriam is the BEST
Babysitting was my first summer job then camp counselor...my favorite was tutoring though cuz it made me feel smart and helpful to whoever i was tutoring.
listening to joslyn talk about her sister is the best, like I want to see them both hahahah
I just got back from a creative writing camp at a university, it was really fun and we had the best mentors :)
Haha i worked at a Cold Stone for 2 and a half years! 😂
The Utah thing happened to me too! I went to kindergarten in Utah where we were learning the alphabet and then I moved to Florida and everyone was already reading Junie B. Jones books and Charlottes Web. I was literally the only kid in my class who couldn't read.
Omg, my parents always try paying me with clothes... That I didn't choose
first job was as an assistant baker. Learned every trick in their book in literally 2 days. From ratio to cooking time and consitency.
I quit after 3 weeks, because that's not what I wanted to do
I saw max and Caroline from 2 broke girls on the thumbnail of the video and got excited😹
My summer job is one part teaching people how to use computers, helping them apply for jobs online.
Hopefully I will be doing children's stuff like a Summer Reading Challange and help running a play scheme.

Leah seemed to be very sexfixated (if thats the correct world) in this episode, it was funny 😂
love that jos was a fellow outbacker! loved and hated that job
Gahd this brought so many cringe worthy memories! Volunteering and summer Jobs were such traumatising experiences but still did just because I'm a masochist like that lol!
Ps: Shanna is Hilarious
I absolutely love this UA-cam channel it's my life
Shanna is one of my favorites. I need her to be in all episodes with Drew.
the only thing I did was volunteer for an art festival in my city, I LOVED being a night guard for the main venue , was sooooo much fun
The Jamaican girl was hilarious 😂
5:41 😂😂😂
you should do a throwback to malcolm in the middle or the 70's show! like if you agree
Definitely that 70s show
Worst summer job: Working in a craft item production facility. I spent weeks COUNTING PAPER. Those assorted color packages don't make themselves!
I'm starting my job as a camp counselor on Sunday.
I only watch these videos to see Shanna!! She is so funny! Makes my day
I actually work at an ice cream parlor ^-^ It's my fifth year there already and I love it. They make their own ice cream in store so you really get to know the product you're selling

I'm from Louisiana and that's not how you say New Orleans at all but it's all good! glad that you helped us
When I was younger during the summer the only thing people would do would update their MySpace😂😂 That or we would be watching Nickelodeon, Disney, Cartoon Network, and MTV.
Well, my last year's summer job was fucked up...
Basically my supervisor was sick and another one had to take her place... and that guy was not in his best mental condition... He cried and yelled and in order to relax he binge-watched cat videos and talked about ice hockey.
I’m a camp counselor at a overnight camp and literally I have to deal with the stupidest middle schoolers every single day
Joslyn has had some busy awesome summers
Am I the only one who would love to have a summer job but can't find one?
Ohhhhh man I got so happy when I saw Shanna! I remember her from back when she did cameos on some of Shane Dawson's videos (but her accent is a lot stronger than I can remember it being). I've always wondered what she was up to these days, she's so funny! Great to see her on Clevver! :)
Summer jobs do suck! But when that check rolls in…💸💰
I worked as a clerk at AC Nelson. My dad got me the job for a summer at age 17.
First job is the one I have now. I work at a burger joint that dates back to the 1960s pretty cool but I'm breaking out from being surrounded by grease 24/7
*watching video* this is okay i guess
*shanna comes in with her realness*
YASSSSS, queeeeeennnnnn

BEING A LIFE GUARD A MAZING
I work at an arcade and you wouldn't believe how uncomfortable our customers can make us
me and my brother had a mowing service as kids, actually had to push the "push" mower and my brother carrying the electric trimmer and cord to houses around, made decent money for two kids, lol
my parent never let me get a job...they're always like "we have enough money!"
