Exclusive Interview | Caitlin Hayes reflects on her 100 appearances for Celtic FC Women

After joining the Hoops in 2020, Caitlin Hayes has gone on to become a stalwart at the back for Fran Alonso’s side.
Over the years, supporters will have become familiar with the defenders rock solid performances, and on many occasions she has also popped up with crucial goals.
It has been a landmark few weeks for Hayes, on the domestic and international stage, and during the recent 3-0 win over Partick Thistle she marked her 100th appearance for the club.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Celtic TV, Hayes reflected on what has been a special few years in Glasgow, discussing her connections to the Celts from a young age, the special bond with the supporters and much more!
She said: “I really couldn’t have written my story with the club! There are fairy-tales that have gone worse than how my time at Celtic has gone. I just can’t believe I’ve reached 100 appearances and I can’t wait for what’s to come.
“Playing for Celtic is the biggest honour, but playing in front of the supporters means a lot and having the chance to share something so special.”
