Great video as usual.Just a thought. Using hot water to soften those bungs will also expand them making them bigger and not necessarily easier to insert. However, if you warm the end of the pole with say a hair dryer then this will make the hole bigger. Maybe even a mixture of both as I would not be as brave as you to push that hard on a pole costing hmmmm lets just say a lot in case better half watching LOL. Just a thought my friend.
Good shout Colin… but I’d stick to Stuart’s advice as I imagine he’s looked into this and broken many many poles in the process of making the bungs… I honestly don’t know how much heating up carbon can take 🤷🏻♂️😂 hope you’re well mate 👍🏻 BB

Unfortunately my inception box leg tops don't unscrew.
But I do like the landing net handle insert bungs,does he have them in all makes and colours, like the pole ones,

You need a different technique BB. Use the palm of your hand and push down in a circular motion and have some balls and give it some 😁 I’ve done 3 poles and yes some are very tight but I’ve not yet had to use hot water 👍

Absolutely agree with you Mike, but might stop my £179.99 😖 landing net handle from splintering… sometimes the end caps become loose on boxes and it’s quite costly to replace with originals… these end caps are a very good affordable alternative if you were to find yourself in that predicament, thanks for taking the time to comment Mike 👍🏻 BB
