What do you think for indian roads which will be comfortable. Ground clearance of kodiaq is lower than meridian. Filling all occupants chances of car touching ground in mild off road conditions will be more in kodiaq than in Jeep. You have made a good comparison but somehow I feel kodiaq is more a urban suv and jeep is versatile. I have always been german fan because of their quality, safety and fun to drive. I own Kodiaq L&K. Before Kodiaq I have owned and driven 2 generations of Scorpio, initially i had the same fear - will Kodiaq handle off road. I have driven Kodiaq in off road conditions, it handles without any issues when all 7 seats are occupied. For real off-roading such as going on rocks then neither Meridian or Kodiaq can handle, in that case you might have to consider Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, becasue that's where gound clearance matters...

@@GKCars Correct, what many people seem to be missing is that while EV and Green Hydrogen is the future, diesel stands to loose in the short term as well. I think not having a Petrol variant will be a deterrent now more than an advantage!
