oh no, T-55 at night :( holy crap, that's some poor quality. (though to be fair, nightvision relies on ambient light. If there's little to no ambient light then you'll get what you see here)
@@zagstrukk I'd have to admit though, playing Warsaw pact taught me how to use smoke, and illumination flares more than the US tanks. Since you have to RELY on them to not die
@flyingbusa3407 smoke doesn't protect you from thermals. Illumination flares give away your position. If the illumination was done how the Soviets doctrinally planned it wouldn't
@@zagstrukk I guess I just assume WP smoke blocks the thermal. Most of the time I kinda used the TC/other unit to spot the enemy, then throw illumination round right on top of them before engaging them with the daylight. I just don't even bother with pact forces night vision, unless I absolutely have to use them.
@flyingbusa3407 I'd rather use the night sight since I can pick and choose when to engage vs with the illumination you are on the clock and must engage to make the illumination round worth it
68W in ACR, we love our big guns.

In addition to that the Warsaw Pact Night Vision is absolute trash. Its worse than the M60A1 AOS' Night vision accross ALL of their tanks.

Awesome.
