@@parrotsticks wasn’t thinking about doing a complete tech switch plus BC’s are not micro intensive. Forward attack command with a raven following with the rest of the units and chase the lurkers down all while clearing tumors and not wasting scans to do it. One match TY had a ton of extra resources, that would have been ideal to try it. Would have made for an interesting fight to see if it played out how I thought it would.
TY always prefers mass tanks than any other Terran players (might be a habit from BW). Siege Tanks are superior to Libs in ground control with splash damage against Roaches and Ravagers, but much inferior dps to libs.
Great games. I feel like dark could have defended all of his bases reasonably well with just a few lurkers at each of them. a lot of those hatcheries were lost to a handful of Marines and Marauders.
I seen my swarm host went pretty good but this lurker 38:10 ish was impaling! might try some , gotta check the map maker for the right veiw of the tech tree its a better one i should print it
Im not sure how I feel about this match. TY is an amazing player, but it just felt like he won because Terran Command Centers a f-ing broken. Half the workers your opponent has? No big deal, call down a million Mules. Got no detection? Not an issue when you have literally infinite vision of the entire map for as long as you want, permanently. That, and what exactly is Zerg supposed to do against Ghosts? Snipe just eradicates everything. TY is great, but man do I hate Scan, it makes the game so boring.
So overpowered indeed. They are so overpowered that the Zerg had a 6k/6k bank vs 1k/2k of the Terrans and couldn't end the game and instead was forced to mine out his side of the map and lose.

Crossfire? Havent heard that name in years. God Im old af. Believe it or not, I used to be able to quick scope with an AWM and get kicked for being so good they thought I was cheating. Then there that year when everyone had cheats. It was hilarious.

I was watching this wondering if TY would make 4 batttlecrusiers with a raven and go after those lurkers. Dark had a few hydras and queens.

scan is the sole reason lurkers are unviable in ZvT, plus its a mechanic with no counter play
