I really like his style.
Sure the jumps can be higher and in Xuanzi he looked underneath his arm instead of overneath, but I like the dynamics and the inclusion of the stances.

Front sweep the foot was not attaching the ground but didn’t get deduction.

И за что 1-е место? За неплохую скорость меча в начале? Все остальное было сделано самое простое.

for the sweep, he took extra steps after it, it looked like he stumbled, and yet no deduction. Also for third section after the butterfly he stumbled(just a tiny hop, which is still extra move so should be deduction) again while doing his sword flowers. And for his empty stance, his pinky was sticking out it was really obvious, I don't know how this guy got first with three deductions. To me it was pretty obvious.
