Back in old testament the people left their sandal outside to enter the house of God. What's wrong with our generation? Any fun activities should be carried outside compound church. very disappointing to see church leaders going with the flow.

What's wrong to this generation????? Church is a place where we come with reverence and adoration. This is a place of worship and praise. We will not find teaching in the Bible where believers having jokes or entertainment inside the synagogue or temple. If want fun and entertainment please do it outside the church.... This is not funny in the eyes of God.
Not to argue but can comedy save a dying soul? Sinners are condemned we need word of God to be saved. I opined it is not right to divide the devotional time of the church to other carnal activities. 🙏

And yes, I don't think comedy alone can save a dying soul but I do believe they can bring them more closer to God because some people likes to listen song, some are interested in listening such as sermon, comedy and so on. The purpose of including comedy in the Church programme is that people can listen comedy at the same time they can listen GOD'S WORD and blessed.
Not everyone can win the heart of people and not everyone can bring a smile on someone's face. Who knows someone might have come there for the first time in the church just because he is going to perform and I think bringing someone to the church and nearer to God is the greatest thing and God wants this. He is always an inspiration to many.
