I've had my 2022 LEAF S Plus for 2 years now. I put about 16K miles on it and battery health readout on the dashboard still says it's at 100%. I plan to buy an OBDII reader and read the "real" values from LEAF Spy but I suspect it is 98% or more since I almost always charge this at a 120V level 1 charger. Charging this slowly has never been a problem. My commute is 32 miles round trip but I only do this twice a week (pandemic remote work leftovers).
Compared to my 2010 Outback I calculated that I have saved about $2200 on fuel in two years. Pretty amazing. Also the hatchback shape is very practical and acceleration is very good. I can blow away almost any GTI from standing start. But I don't really do that. Just say this car is quick. Very happy with my LEAF.
He's an ICE head all he really cares about is the 0-60 and how fast he can drive 😂
Great car. We love our Leafs. My 2012 has 85% range remaining. My wife's 3yo 2020 Plus is still running at 110% range. Great family cars and regional commuters.

Hoping a 2025 leaf will continue with the model. CCS or NACS with a thermal battery cooling system. It would be the best in class for the price.
Excellent review! Show what it's really like to live with this leaf except for maybe everyday charging.
Thousands of new chademo chargers are being added. In North America we have gone from 6000 chademo locations 2.5 years ago to over 10,000 locations now. Compares well with about 2000 Tesla SC locations.

I love those freakin wheels. They are awesome. They look like Pontiac wheels back in the day from like the Sunbirds, Grand Prix and Grand Am. Love them!
I am considering getting these rims for my 2023 Nissan Kickstarters SR as the alloy wheels on my Kicks and this Leaf are both 205/55R17 and 17x6.5 rims.
How fast does it Charge
I consider to buy a new 23' Nissan Leaf EV.
do these vehicles really take 11 hours to charge on 240v?
Well it’s a 60kw battery. So yes. At best charge of 6kw that’s 10+ hours at empty.

Chademo......is dead
Not yet. Every major DCFC station has at least one CHAdeMO charger. Also, 7-eleven does have one in their nationwide fast-charging stations.
It is very popular in Asia. Also, it is more reliable, technical-wise compared to CCS.
I haven't had a problem finding Chademo chargers. Just about every non-Tesla fast charging location has Chademo. Many Electify America have 9 CCS and one Chademo; the Chademo is almost always available. EVgo often has CCS, Chademo, and Tesla at each charger. Newer Chargepoint tend to have both a CCS and a Chademo on charger units. Haven't been to a Blink charger lately...
