I´ve just finished building my eagerly-awaited-since-childhood Lunchbox chassis yesterday, now I´m thinking about different paint schemes. I´ve read to try the Lunchbox stock and then start upgrading, you know, oil shocks, transmission/chassis brace, and so on. I saw your positrack video and liked your rig a lot, I didn´t lock my diff but I used Tamiya Anti Wear grease to limit the slip (works really good!) and now, before finishing the paintwork, I´m thinking in lengthening the wheelbase, LOL... Work like this deserves liking and subscribing, it´s done. Waiting for part two to come soon, cheers from Madrid, Spain!
Thanks, I really appreciate your comment! Congrats on finally getting one, I remember that feeling, I wanted one as a kid too! Mine has gone through a few different color changes over its life lol. When I got the new tub a few months ago I told myself I was going to keep it stock but that just didn’t happen😂. I think you can get stock hangers that lengthen the wheel base too. Thanks again for liking and subscribing! The 2nd video should be done next weekend. Cheers from Chicago!
I listed the parts I used in the description but I don’t have the part numbers. A lot of those parts are discontinued also. The front lower arms/knuckles would be the same as on a Yokomo YD2 if that helps.
You have a great working area
