You hit the nail on the head, 50 was a mastermind for putting together business deals and making EVERYONE some money, but I feel like just as fast as G-Unit rose up they ran out of steam and crashed just as fast. Maybe it was a talent problem, but 50 did everything to help them succeed.

PAC from what delaray was talking about on his straight game tv channel was way ahead of anybody in the rap business nobody could touch what pac would have done in 96. So 50 was the closes thing to what pac was trying to do before anyone of these artist now.
Not only was he dropping all these g-unit albums, his solo projects, and movies from 2003-2005. 50 Cent also was dropping all the G-Unit mixtapes those years. 50 Cent and the amount of work in that short time period and coming through gate and they all were a success. Yet they don’t like to give 50 Cent the credit he deserves. 50 Cent is one of the few artist who made other artist under him successful out the gate. Not too many rappers have been known to do that especially on that level and I don’t know if will ever see anything like this again. Still I can see why he started to focus more on himself musically when it came to their sophomore albums. You cannot continue to enable and hold their hands through the process. He showed them the fruits of his labor for the first round but to continue that would only hold them back.
Best and the worst decision 50 did was sign The Game .. the hype and skills of Game I can say were second to none but his bi polar antics of beefing with rappers that 50 would've never paid attention to and then for them to go against each took the energy from G Unit as a whole
