That dry erase board goes for $20-$40. You got hosed. The problem is doing thorough research on the spot can be difficult. I'm surprised you didn't counter at all.
It takes maybe 2-3 mins at most to check between 3-5 different sites for pricing on sold listings. A lot of their items in the video are overpriced which makes sense why they have sooo much stock
@@AndrewBoersma I think some places build a Faraday cage around the perimeter since I've had trouble looking up info at times (I've never been to that particular store). I was a fighting game type (Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Marvel vs Capcom) but also loved the driving sims. However, my favourite arcade game by far was the 1994 co-op Alien Vs Predator side scroller - still such a fun game if you can get your hands on a decent version of it and (more importantly) convince three other people to join you.
you should've went to Vacuums & Videogames and Clarkade in Dayton while you were down there. Those two stores would blow you away with the kiosks and heavies
I have that PVC Mario doll that was made in 1989. It is complete. The one at the store you showed seems to be missing a hat. I bought it from Toys "R" Us in Pensacola, Florida.
Im almost 37, caught my kids watching pokemon today. Made them pull up the original. Told them I have pokemon stadium on n64. I have pokemon yellow and still live in the world nothing matters besides red blue and yellow
This is the same store that was selling banned games at the convention... and I've had terrible experiences with them in-store. I won't be giving them my business again.
15:23 i don’t have much of a collection, definitely don’t have anything super rare, but i do have that “insanely rare $100 mario dry erase board”, my wife got it at an antique mall for $7.49
Half if not most of the stuff they had listed in the video were overpriced or just slightly market price. That erase board is about $20-30 on average haha
Obviously I’m old but Arch Rivals was my favorite arcade game from back in the days! 3 on 3 basket-brawl! 7:59 Shoutout to 99Vidas, a great beat em up game based on a brazilian podcast with the same name. It's a gaming podcast with a big focus on retro gaming and old memories. Realy nice to see a collector's edition out there.
It costs a lot more to run a store and pay for employees and a place to sell stuff out of than it is to sell something online with infinitely less overhead
This store in particular is the most ridiculously overpriced one I've ever been to and I've traveled all over the country visiting game stores. It's a huge yikes.
@@rottenandrude6669 after seeing that 100 dollar price tag on that Mario dry erase thing, I am inclined to agree with you that maybe they are aggressively on the high end

@gilbertoarellano8525 I have had many stores offer 60% plus for great condition games. And I too live in the Midwest. Maybe check out some more options mate
@@gilbertoarellano8525 Here are some tips (only if the store feels good to the consumer) 1. Become friends with the owner/workers. 2. Stores like this always puzzle me. You only van have this good of a stock if your prices are on the higher side, but you also need sales. I wonder what their pricing is.
Are you in Arkansas? You can jump on I40 and come to Shawnee Oklahoma we have two mazzios pizza, they currently have a cheese stuffed crust, and if you like spicy, get on with Ken's spicy red sauce! 👍

3pm central i bet is what you're referring too. I have to be at work just as your start this. I won't be able to join in T_T.
Got a Gameboy collection with 500+ North American titles and no duplicates. Interested?
Rick's personality is so magnetic! Key thing is he's always respectful to others and that is our common language as human beings
Nothing in this video is 1 of 1
Wipe your mouth off
It seems to me (with this store at least) that it's easy to keep rare and expensive games when you way overprice them. May sell some. But not many.
When i was kid there was a final fight arcade at my local fish and chip shop. My dad would always let me play it. Good memories.
That Nintendo cabinet is lush ❤
Yes! I am so thankful I got that Sega Cabinet. 🙌🏻 love seeing all of the display cabinets and other fun items in this store. :)
MK2 / MK3 was the absolute go to for me whenever I hit the arcade. Sock full of quarters, life could never be better!
My go to arcade game is 1942. Still love it.

Okay Maximillian Dood 😂
i love the duke controller, and its literally like a time traveling device holding one. Im instantly taking back to playing
That planner is $40 on eBay. They trying to tax the dude!
Par for the course in that store.

Both incredible stores!
Mortal Kombat at the Skating Rink, during breaks I would clean out the crane machine and bring home all the plush glory!
OK. The Super Mario Bors 2 phone was quite cool. Loved the box art!
Area 51. I used to crush that back in the day at arcades. I literally had the positions of the aliens for the vast majority of the game.

My game was spy hunter. I used to go to the local greyhound bus terminal to play it all the time
The three arcade games I played the most at restaurants etc are Simpsons, Street Fighter, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
3 gems
Literally my choices too 😂
Same !

Dirty store. Miserably hot. Broken/defective games. No return policy. Vulgar pricing. What's not to like?!

Mazios was in St. Louis as well. Loved it. Was a good alternative to the shrinking Pizza Hut buffets
Mazios was awesome
Shinobi at the local campground rec center and MK2 at Aladdins castle.
That puppet cooler was featured boxed on Eds retro geek out this week. 65 was a good deal for its rarity

that mario box is insane!!
The best buy was the Mario cup with dangling feet for sure.
Super fun vid with awesome content - RetroRick goodness
