I wish more people in this world were as cool and honest and trustworthy as you man. The world would be a MUCH better place. Keep on keeping on!
To address more of KoolBreeze420's question too, not all of us live in an area that's conducive to gold panning and actually finding anything. So this is a way to experience it without living in a gold rich area.
I’ve had a terrible day today but seeing that bag thrown into the pan still makes me laugh (no idea why). Thanks Klesh.
I do like seeing the bag tossed in.
I would love to see you calculate the value of the gold recovered based off of today’s gold values at the end of these extended videos to compare. I think it would go great with the commentary format you’re doing!
Ya it would be interesting.
I just love genius questions! Lol for me making Paydirt bags is my happy place. We have a small claim in Colorado and we have friends with claims that some of our gold comes from but we don’t find near enough to supply the demand, also we live in Oklahoma, we only get to prospect when we are in Colorado so we end up purchasing gold in various places, we also get gold from Paydirts that we buy and do ourselves. After we purchase the gold, the bags, the label paper, pay for shipping, etc, we don’t actually make any money, we love doing this, maybe someday it will be profitable but for now it’s all about fun.
Nice find brother and welcome home US Navy veteran myself
These are nice to watch as I started around episode 43 or 45
I agree… I started following really late also but I’m enjoying these a ton!
Great video as always Shane! And sweet shirt dude!
Another awesome video thank you!
Nice Au indeed fam. Keep on having fun and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠
I have tried the lead shot here and there, but I pan way too fast and always lose one every now and then. I'm slowing my process gradually, but I do always re-pan to check for lost gold.
I won my first gold coin from his charity event, and I did a small bag from a different giveaway, got .15 + just like the bag says. Have a Minors Depot bag to do, then, ordering a Klesh bag........
I’ve been waiting for this video for literal years hahahah.
Another good one...I was twrrified qhen I saw you dumping the gold onto the paper without something under to catch any strays!
I do use the lead shot, I have some round, some smashed, some cut in half, I use them to help keep me in check, I know if the lead is in the pan, there would be gold. But...
“NICE” works so much better then “cool” when you throw the bag in the pan.
I figure that out a few episodes later I think
Yep always looking forward to the "NICE!"
@@ThisIsWheelLife me too. I usually say it along with him haha!
Nice vid
I've been inspired by your videos to try this myself. I am fortunate to have a creek near by and collected some dirt and classified it the same as I see you do it. However, I bought a small kit with a 10", double sided pan and it seems too small and not at all the same as you use.
What size and style pan do you recommend?
I had now clue there were so many different choices.
I like the Garrett super sluice but everyone ends up with a preference. I like it because its enormous and can process a whole bucket in 3 pans, it's even faster than running it through the sluice if you're only doing a couple buckets that day
Ita all good we all remember our first day
Have you ever done a video with the crystal collector! Loving the content bro all the way from the UK
Not not yet but I know who that is
Would be epic please make this happen 🙏
@@mrdanski85 I had an invitation last year from Dan Hurd and crystal collector to meet up in Arkansas I believe for a video but I was traveling so could not make it happen. Probably in the future for sure
@Klesh what a shame that would of been so good, fingers crossed that you do a video in the future. Loving the new concept of revisiting old video's, and do you ship to the UK?
Hey Shane, how often or do you still use the Blue Magnetic sands pan? and what is the purpose of the blue pan exactly?
Rarely. It's meant to stay unseasoned and it's for separating very fine gold from
Black sands.
Lead shot is genius for novice work at home
If you smack them with a hammer once, it would be even more realistic. Round gold isn't as common as flat gold.
@@Klesh absolutely correct. Still genius though....especially for the novice
@@Klesh glad you're re-running all of these episodes....
Nice
For those wondering, gold is 40.2% higher in price on 8/19/23.
Shorter version.
What size and style pan do you recommend using?
I’m curious which method is truly better?
Taking magnetic material out dry or filling the pan full of clean water and only running the magnet on top of the water.
I’ve seen both and people swear each way is the best.
I guess the theory of the wet method is to give the gold time to fall on its way up to the magnet.
Not sure if it’s compelling enough for a whole video but you could seed already clean black sands and test which is better?
I've demonstrated in a few videos why removing magnetics while wet is a bad idea. I even made a video or two using a magnet to retrieve gold from the river, because the fact it sticks within black sand when wet.
@@Klesh I’m looking forward to seeing those! I appreciate it!
Looks like the lighting needs some more back lighting. How are you doing your lighting now.
Oh thank you for your for your 🎉 moments that give me a finer direction.
After doing a bunch of research, i am still learning the best way to do lighting.
Can you put the amount of what it would cost today versus back when it was done? Sense the gold prices have increased from then to now I'm curious to see what it would be worth now in 2023.
The weights are there, it's just a simple conversion
It seems like most of the honest paydirt vendors don't last. Before finding you I must of been ripped off a handful of times. It sucks when you get it so the kids could learn how to pan and get excited when you get gold.and you get skunk on paydirt you buy.
5 grams
👍
Do you have "old" tailings? It would be interesting to see if you really missed gold in the earlier videos.
Not anymore
Not anymore however I did run my tailings in separate videos back then
Im not into this as such, but its nice u get money for nowt and found ur channel. Wow your so handsome and ur gf is very lucky having u. Love Christine 🇬🇧 ❤xx oops ment to say fab videos
Dig your shirt
Ah darn. Looks like he might be out of business now :/
would love to find some gold in ohio somewhere. i dont think it actually can be found here though, can it?
Yes it can, Google search glacial till gold Ohio
@@Klesh cool, thanks!
✌🤠✌
I think it would be interesting to flatten the shots a bit and then try panning for the gold.
Is tom back in business
Not that I know of
