- In this Mortal Kombat 1 video, we're going to show you the easiest way to defeat Dark Star Cage "Cage Con" with the specific location of the talisman & Relic used so you can unlock all the rewards without being all sweaty. This Pro-Tip works to defeat all seasonal bosses and/or other titan battles!
HELPFUL INFO
Johnny will do little damage, if not any, damage to you IF:
- Use the "+50% Energy Resistance" Konsumable (Check Shops per rotations, usually in Gateway)
- You use Reiko which has 50% Energy Resistance (Dark Cage is Energy type)
💯THAT'S 100% RESISTANCE TO EVERYTHING HE ATTACKS WITH💯
- Translucency Field Konsumable, immune to projectiles ("Get Some" Klue Reward #1 • Mortal Kombat 1 Season... or check Gateway shop rotation)
- You can just win by lasting the whole fight and having more health than he does when the timer runs out!
OPTIONAL ITEMS
- Talisman that heals you and additionally when you punch
- “Gem Stones” Relic, automatic gives 50% resistance to all types (check Gateway shop rotation)
- "Show Me Your Moves" Relic which heals you when you taunt, it also auto taunts, also gain super armor and/or other buffs AND buffs damage dealt by double per next hit after each taunt, can be found here • Mortal Kombat 1 Season...

Guys, let the timer run out in the first round, just make sure you have more life than Johnny.

I used this strategy and avoided the 3rd round by staying on round 2 and healing until timeout.
This is the worst boss fight i have ever encountered in this game. It was fucking stupid. I used your technique and finished the fight. Although it was a cheap way of beating the boss but it worked and i am glad. Thanks man i really appreciate this.

I just spent all the points to Reikos special and had the relic that doubles your special and just spammed throwing stars in all invasions lol
Keep healing until time runs out on round 2. Thats how i did it.

tried it with just the taunts, it still hits for huge damage and you cant see it coming, sometimes I just die with no explanation, this fight is seriously bugged

Never played Reko before but ill give him a try, I can't get pass round 3 the survive mode is ridiculous, never had problems like this in the last few Invasions

I used Reiko & Kameo Sub-Zero. I recommend getting the Eneregic Aura Talisman in the Gateway Portal for 4k Krowns. Kameo Sub-Zero's Arctic Armor is useful on energy projectiles in Round 3 while trying to dodge it, along with the talisman
Cheers man this is one of the worst seasons in terms of bosses but best in terms of character
Don't think the orbs were necessary in this fight. He isn't even the final season 5 invasion boss
that's what I'm saying. I can understand it since raiden is the final boss to have it but not johnny cage. really unnecessary

Which Talisman is that? and I been using Kung Lao i dont wanna switch characters and have to start over to get to level 23
Invasions level is shared across all characters, you just need to put the stat points in. Talisman is just an extra optional item, check the description for updated tips!

How do you use the konsumable in the match? I’m on PlayStation 5
Konsumables are enabled prior to starting the match (one time use though), check bottom left to see if enabled with a green checkmark
I figured it out you have to use Reiko you can’t use anyone else and follow the steps of this video
This dodnt work for me, even when taunting i take damage and die in a couple seconds

You can but it don't last long so use it a lot (and be careful to use the good input or you dead)

Get a konsumable that makes your kameo bar not drain and equip sub zero so he can give armour

Tried this but its not working on wave 3 (the survive round)
use Sub zero as a Kameo, and use the ice shirt. Taunt to regain health. run as best you can from the projectiles.

How do you apply points into health
Go to the stats and it might say that you got auto assign on if you do take it off
you might have chosen AUTO placement, if so, there is an item in the Academy that is called "White Enenra Core" that will refund all stat points so you can manually place them once you change to MANUAL placement!

check your relic, it might be a taunt every 30 secs or lose

What I did was use my main invasions character because i’m trying to level her up (Nitara), used SubZero Cameo to block all projectiles, and spammed uppercut
