I saw them supporting Cradle of Filth with Old Man's Child in 98 and thought they were awful. Something made me check out their second from last album and I really liked it and have recently picked up a copy of their debut. My tastes have changed a lot since I was 16!
I had forgotten about this. I first heard this band precisely in 1997, because of the "Firestarter" compilation. I think I like this EP more than their other albums (although I have a lot of catching-up to do). Awesome this was dusted off and uploaded here. Thank you!
I always liked them more than Enslaved which became huge band instead of them. Real Viking metal. Cheers nordic brothers.
cheers from nordic sis

Forgotten gem
A little forgotten gem of the second golden age of viking metal
One of the best viking metal ep from 90s. So called hidden gem. 😊
Gonna see them live in Oslo tomorrow.
20 years since last time.

Remember reading about how unpopular they was with the fans of Cradle of Filth on that tour.
Stupid kids who can't appreciate great metal.
I remember Galder been very sick in that gig. Their sound was also very bad. Maybe mix/master dudes were drunk as skunk and they did not give a fuck.
Toda la esencia Vikinga 👍
