I love how she talks about this. Think when she says she lost her virginity early, she's conscious of the fact that maybe she was lookg for comfort, friendship or something that she wouldn't have been searching for if her dad was available physically, financially and emotionally. Not that I'm saying he was bad, he was dealing with his own challenges. The fact that she says she's been leaning on the Lord (Angie Martinez interview) is key to understanding how she can get to a place where she can talk about hard things w/out worrying about hurting others.
