I love this channel definitely my favorite. Coach C will answer any question you may have and answers quickly. He genuinely cares about his followers and he is absolutely the most entertaining reviewer there is! I admire him and hope to be as consistent a bowler as he is someday as I’m new to bowling at 54 years old. I have learned a lot and been inspired by watching his videos and seeing his own improvement in this sport. A shout out to you Coach C you’re the man!

I really love the Track Theorem that I have for my left handed arsenal so I can use this for the right hand. I don’t have any Storm IQs and always wanted one. (2 handed bowler)

Coach C I have a dilemma… I have been throwing a 14# UFO Alert but tonight I threw my step sons 15# Crimson Jackal for a couple games and it made a huge difference in my game. His span is larger than mine and I could just barely manage it but it wasn’t too bad. With my ball I couldn’t get much hook on it. I thought I just didn’t have enough rotation on it but when I threw the Jackal I had to move to 30 or it hooked too much. I went back to my ball and had to throw it from 15 to get it to the pocket. I usually have the problem of yanking my ball left but it only happened once throwing his ball. I’m not sure if it’s the weight of the ball or because the span was getting me out of the ball earlier. So my dilemma is I’ve been wanting to buy a couple new balls but now I’m wondering if I should switch to 15# ball because I only noticed the weight difference when I went back to my 14# ball. Or could it be that my span is just wrong on my 14# ball. I know that you switched from 15# to 14# so what has that done for you? I’m kinda in limbo about where to go from here with weight.
Also I forgot to mention that my pin on my UFO Alert is similar to the pin you use… pin up a few inches right of ring finger but my sons Jackal is pin up above ring finger 🤷🏻♂️
Ok so this is a great question!!!! Ok, , so there are a couple of things to consider here. First, with the span being longer, you had no choice, but to exist the ball sooner. So what does existing the ball sooner do if it's thumb first, and fingers stay in the ball? What that creates is more revs!! More revs mean more shape on the ball=hook. The second fact to consider here is how his ball was mapped out? Was his ball drilled to be aggressive? Was his ball drill to go long with a ton of backend? The layout on his ball does come into play. Now for number three and most important, the ball itself. UFO Alert while it’s not a bad ball “banned list” it has a nice cover/core combination. The Motiv Crimson Jackal is built to change direction at the blind of an eye, and to react to friction faster. The Crimson Jackal is using the new Propulsion HV+ cover with the predator v2 core, which is pretty awesome. So if you had the Crimson Jackal in 14LBs it would still respond the same way in my opinion. Balling balls have changed in the last couple of years. When getting new equipment you’re going to be surprised with the reaction.

@@shanenorthrop1969 Switching to 14lbs gave me more control. Also allowed me to be a little more accurate as well.
What is the difference in the balls? Do you need both in the bag? Could you use as a set in league and which ball would you go to first?
Great questions! Yes you can have both in your bag, and while the shapes are very similar ball strength is different. The theorem is strong which allows you to ball down to the Jackal and keep the same shape. I use the combination in league twice I believe this season.
You have the numbers on the Crimson at 2.51 and 0.49. But its an Asymm tho 🤷♂️
Core numbers are different at 14lbs.
