This particular video is more geared towards marketing and survival. It would be nice to see a picture of this particular gadgets. please don’t get me wrong, I do appreciate you posting this video. With some of us are just looking for advice, survival hints and just anything beneficial to the camper/prepper like myself and my dog. I don’t have $1000 to blow on high end gear. If anybody out there, has any advice, recommendations or even hints of what can be beneficial to us in our yearly camping off the grid situation, we would greatly appreciate it. I don’t hide behind an Internet name. I use my real name. I can be found on Facebook, or just email. Give me a shout and I will gladly provide my email to you. We are just trying to make the best of the situation, design a real channel. That is geared 100% towards camping and survival. Not marketing! I am not trying to get rich, nor prosper from the channel I intend to design. I just want people to make the best of a situation they may run into. Again; please help us out. We have been camping for a few years, but there is a lot more we need to know. Thank you and God bless saw you out there. George and Kobe
Something i never see in these survival gear videos is a suture kit, which is really inexpensive and in my option extremely important. It’s an overlooked item that to me is an essential to my camp gear. Doesn’t take up any space. The butterfly bandages are ok in some cases but i learned the hard way that when you’re out hiking, climbing, they never stay, between moving and sweating there useless.
I agree suture guns are cheap , so is super glue. wife a nurse so my kit is often used more than the ER . much faster to do your own if you have the skill set
First aid kits are usually very under rated. And I suspect because hikers want to lose weight and not have something for every situation that might fall you in the remote wilderness. But yes, I've been tweaking my travel first aid kit for years. And I will probably never have it to a point I will be happy with it.
Needles and dental gloss for sewing up deep cuts. A pot big enough to boil enough drinking water. Fishing gear & A bow & arrows. Axe, Saw, & my favorite Machete. 10x12 tarp to keep you dry.. Best advice is to go out on short trips and then progress to long trips, so you learn what you need to put in your pack.
they can securly fill the water bag with out getting there hands wet! OMG OMG OMG! they got me with that! i ordered as many as i could afford after selling my house, my cat and my toaster.
Love the concept. Filters are an excellent choice and ideal way to clean water ( get ready for the catch 22) depending on the filters chemical composition.. preferably more of an ideal organic filtrate solution would be the best if possible to carry around or make one up as needed.
I actually got the bivvy on my Walmart account the other day I’ve been putting off survival gear for too long but now I’m getting as prepped as I can now
I cant speak for most of the gear on this list but I can about the first item the knife. It is made in china but its of very good quality. Edge retention is very good very thick high end knife. Its a damn good buy at the price point.
Meh, if you are doing survival kit there's only few essentials you want to build your gear around. Knife(in case of stand alone kit, just get mora, it's really good, and anything more is quite expensive for something you might not use) Swiss knife(it has tweezers, though for urban kit multi-tool is better) Headlamp and small led light, both should accept AAA battery. Survival whistle Navigation kit (preferably suunto MC-2 since it's the best and has signal mirror built in, map of local area, waterproof notepad and couple pens) Water purification method, like swayer mini. Wide mouth stainless steel bottle, and if you want nesting metal cup you can use for cooking and stuff. Fire kit (Ferro rod, lighter in protective case, storm matches and some premade kindling) Some paracord and metal wire. Ziplock bags Bit of duct tape for patching up stuff Very minimal first aid kit. Rain poncho Emergency blanket (emergency bivy is even better) Working gloves Good medium thickness socks like merino wool socks Emergency bar pack like SOS 3600cal pack Additionally I would add couple sachets isotonic drinks for salts and electrolytes, some hard candy, and instant coffee or tea. This is basically the essential emergency kit. I didn't include stuff like fishing kits, because not every place has water and in most cases having pack of food so you can quickly move to safety or your destination is much more important. Overall, fishing especially with subpar gear will most likely just be waste of energy, energy and time you could use to get actually walk to safety or your destination. There's really lot of things you might want to add, but thing is, this is for just in case, and to me realistic survival pack is not for living out in woods making camps, it's to get from A to B. If you start making survival pack that is for every situation and incident, your budget, weight and size of the pack will just go up.
Just to say many thanks for taking the time to compile and list all the Options for some one to consider in their Bug out bag. As I write on the 6th of March 2022 never a more pressing issue to get this right ,due to Putins actions in the Ukraine . Thanks again Mick in Scotland 🏴
Yes exactly...tired of lame channels using click bait...they all need thumbs down and no subscribers...they are all just looking for attention..and think they are providing real advice..but are really just satisfying their own mental need for subscribers..to make themselves feel important......just fkn sad..and a waste of time
I had the same question. Did a screen grab and reverse image search and there are a couple pics of this setup that have been bouncing around Pinterest boards and UA-cam videos for years, but no one links to an actual creator. The closest I’ve found is a guy on Etsy named EthosSurvivalInc
Holtzman's is an amazing knife got one for Christmas this year the 1095 carbon steel I've used the hell out of it split wood to start fires with and still just as sharp as it was the first day one of the best knifes I have along with my buck 110 can't go wrong with the Holtzman's or Buck
i have watched a lot of this channel, great channel but it has so much more potential. almost everything are just commercials aimed at selling stuff that looks practical, and most is for some use or another, but better research is need if you're not going to go out and put the product to the test yourselves. i have looked into a lot of the things myself and they are either poor quality and are prone to failure and in some circumstances the price points are just crazy and there are products out there that have just as good quality that you're not paying for the popular name. if you tools fail, either to live up to the advertisement or structurally they have lost all practicality.
I can't take it anymore! Who the hell taught people how to strike a ferrocerium rod? In the survival training I had, we were taught the correct way to do it. I always see people demonstrate this looking like they are having a seizure. Done correctly, one firm stroke of the ferro rod will make more than enough spark to start a fire. No need to scrape a pile of ferrocerium onto your tinder, that is simply wasteful. Obviously this requires dry tinder, but that is easy enough to carry. I carry either dryer lint or cotton balls in a small jar of petroleum jelly and maybe some fat-wood. Spazzing out and striking the ferro rod over and over is stupid, wasteful, and shortens the effective lifespan of the ferro rod. Also for noobs it greatly increases their likelihood of injuring themself with a blade. I admit it does take some practice, but one and done is a much better approach. This video, and many others pushing survival gear, demonstrate exactly NOT how to use a ferro rod. OK, end of rant, This video pushed me over the edge and I had to say something. Have a Great Day everyone!
I have a product that I am sole control of that can be used with sandbags for defense and can stop a hand grenade blast. I would like to speak with you about potentially offering it on your site. Greg
I have to say this. I think if I was out hiking in the wilderness with just myself or one other person, I don't know that I would really trust anything that I would buy from any kind of a discount store. My life could very well depend upon the equipment I'm using. In that case, I'm going to go with quality even if I have to spend more money for it. Some people try to save a buck, and then they end up getting screwed and then wonder why.
Most of this is nothing but backyard camping stuff to have fun with the kids over a weekend it's far from anything that you would use for survival to stay alive
I'd like to know the name and brand of the knife you have displayed in your clickbait image for this video. You have used it for several but cannot find a video that reviews the product directly.
Buck 119 is the best knife ever me and my Dad abused that knife for 30 years , even chopped threw a lot of bone with it . It's still like new and always sharp. I don't want or need anything in this video. Don't waist your money.
Notice how most of their stuff is made from plastic. Which starts as fossil fuel. People know no better. Yeah I’ll carry my water in a plastic bag, full of chemicals that cause cancer. Short thin feral rod. So you have to keep buying them. Thicker the better also longer helps a lot. When your out trying to camp, or to survive you really want something that is to short or to thin. As it breaks cause of some over sight buy those that made it, who you going to complain to. Out in the middle of nowhere. Army surplus best place to shop.
No man. Modern premium steels will blow that old ass knife away easy. Honestly Buck is a cheapo brand now. Most of their stuff is cheaply made junk. Go with a good brand with new day steel and you can do anything and better than the other guy
A2 Tool steel is a way better option for a bushcraft knife over a D2 knife also carry a small bottle of vasaline and cotton balls for fire and med and just get a sawyer squeeze for water filtration
also if you pack it right you can use a fanny pack and a few things attached to your belt via carabiners to do a 1 or 2 day hike you dont need (or want) a 22lb pack probably around 30-40lb full for a few day hike just get a small wool blanket and a hammock and fill your fanny pack with food and wear a camelback its so much lighter and more comfortable
The biggest problem is that people buy all sorts of survival gadgets and never practice with it. You should be going out a couple of times a year for a 24 over night just using your survival equipment. Or else don't waste your money buying this stuff.
Water resistant bag is not good enough. Need waterproof bag. Already said, survival guide, not school camping trip. 7:28, bad idea to damage the axe and make it less sharp.
Love this kind of stuff, but cannot find anything specific for women in this area. Not interested in make up type stuff, etc. Looking for the EDC for tomboy women! I know some of this stuff will will work, but does anyone have ideas or lead me in the right direction?

Yeah the backpack is good for people who don't want to have to think about what they need. It's a good ide but I'd rather buy my own stuff and the back pack is sort of stupid looking
hell-O there people nice to read every ones views - just me thinking is do your home work - look at everything you can find on - camping -backing -survival - bush craft there are Tom's of thing to look up - everyone has something to say that's just human behavior - not everything you see or hear is is really the way it is - get more than one or two opinions - read books - ask questions - don't be satisfied with one thing - it's like DONT DRIVE IN FAST MOVING WATER but people will- so don't take your family out in the woods- unless you know for sure what you are doing - you got one of the best information devices in the world in your pocket- use some of the things you buy- in the back yard - or a park - rember things you see some times are not real - if in dought ask- seek - an you will find - things are changing every second #y
@Heyman Coolmanilikeitverymuch Totally agree ! Bushcraft gear needs to be made of high quality, long life materials. Failure in the field could be fatal in some instances !

Muito bom
This was so awesome. Like a parody almost. I mean every segment was like a kickstarter video. Just brilliant.
Adhesive sutures? Quick clot would be good as well.
I agree suture guns are cheap , so is super glue. wife a nurse so my kit is often used more than the ER . much faster to do your own if you have the skill set
That’s what the duct tape is for… proven effective by myself… (slipped with a chainsaw)
First aid kits are usually very under rated. And I suspect because hikers want to lose weight and not have something for every situation that might fall you in the remote wilderness. But yes, I've been tweaking my travel first aid kit for years. And I will probably never have it to a point I will be happy with it.
I carry a medixal stapler, but po tay to. Po tah to. Good observation
I was disappointed. I was hoping you talked about the knife sheath that was in the intro.
Click bait on these videos is disappointing, and I avoid any sites that use it and don't show you the product.
Survival Gear, the backpack in the thumbnail isnt in the video. That was the whole reason i watched it. wtf man i've been duped.
What are the knife/multi tool sheath combo and back pack names on the video thimbnail
Needles and dental gloss for sewing up deep cuts.
A pot big enough to boil enough drinking water.
Fishing gear & A bow & arrows.
Axe, Saw, & my favorite Machete.
10x12 tarp to keep you dry..

I just like it when show survival in the woodline , there wont be a woodline when you have millions of people that are in it you wont be alone.
I actually got the bivvy on my Walmart account the other day I’ve been putting off survival gear for too long but now I’m getting as prepped as I can now
this is just an advertisement, sad
I like the bag on the picture/ beginning. The knife looks also good....where can i buy it?
The video is titled "TOP 5 ESSENTIAL SURVIVAL GEAR & GADGETS ON AMAZON"... so if you read the title you will get your answer lol!
weak comment. You can't buy the backpack and the knife on Amazon. 6 set
Lol
The new Holtzmans survival knives are great for bushcraft.
The reviews for their new survival knives are very good.
It sure is a good looking knife 🔪...!
I cant speak for most of the gear on this list but I can about the first item the knife. It is made in china but its of very good quality. Edge retention is very good very thick high end knife. Its a damn good buy at the price point.
I will second that . And yes I have one . Also quit a few other brands . And this one is a regular choice in my pack
Thanks for the video. Will definitely invest in some of these items.

How is the knife/sheath combo in the thumbnail nowhere in you video?
I remember Rose in Titanic when she used her survival whistle, she really survived tho
What’s the bag that’s in the thumb nail?
Was ist das für Rucksack? Der sieht toll aus? Welche Marke ist das??
A simple looking knife with a very durable blade. Nice pick!
Where's the awesome knife and sheath on the thumbmail?

What is the name of that bag on the thumb nail? I want to buy it. Thanks
Survival/bushcraft fixed blade from D2? Will broke on the first harder batoning… I love D2 but in folders…
Yea d2 is too hard for any real survival uses its a bit too brittle. But truth be told most of the stuff on here is junk
Halo kakak peralatan nya beli di mana ya.
Terima kasih 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I want to find the knife on the thumbnail!!! Anyone know!?!?
Morakniv
can i get the link to the bag seen in the thumbnail
Super top...
That bug out bag was nice

I have the 113 and 119 and love them both. +1 vote for buck. Low price high quality

Blimey! Cool!Thx a lot!
Some good products but really a series of commercials as opposed to objective reviews.
Notice how this channel shows you the "best" items every month
Kinda like once every year they hire big celebrities to tell us about stuff between super bowl whistles sorta SHOW YOU ?!!
Thumbnail backpack brand anyone?
paracord can be used as a lanyard? this is revolutionary information 😂
Yes definitely
duh, 1st thing the USAF taught us was to bury the parachute, say what!
What knife is on the cover photo is the one with the orange and black sheath
A2 Tool steel is a way better option for a bushcraft knife over a D2 knife also carry a small bottle of vasaline and cotton balls for fire and med and just get a sawyer squeeze for water filtration
also if you pack it right you can use a fanny pack and a few things attached to your belt via carabiners to do a 1 or 2 day hike you dont need (or want) a 22lb pack probably around 30-40lb full for a few day hike just get a small wool blanket and a hammock and fill your fanny pack with food and wear a camelback its so much lighter and more comfortable

Love to se a list of useless or totaly gimicy gear
remember kids! as experience increases, equipment required decreases!
The biggest problem is that people buy all sorts of survival gadgets and never practice with it. You should be going out a couple of times a year for a 24 over night just using your survival equipment. Or else don't waste your money buying this stuff.
i live in a tropical country, a jungle bolo will match all the stuff in this vid😅
Elite survival systems pack
Top 5 essential survival gear and gadgets to die for... literally.
really good
Love your vid!
Glad you liked my selection of survival gear! Thanks for watching!
Water resistant bag is not good enough. Need waterproof bag. Already said, survival guide, not school camping trip.
7:28, bad idea to damage the axe and make it less sharp.
careful owning a dry bag, when you go on a boat everyone else will want to put their stuff in it.
Off switch applied. That background noise is to distracting. I was really enjoy the show, but that noise was just to much!!
Love this kind of stuff, but cannot find anything specific for women in this area. Not interested in make up type stuff, etc. Looking for the EDC for tomboy women!
I know some of this stuff will will work, but does anyone have ideas or lead me in the right direction?
I’ve been adapting my own EDC by watching what the guys are doing, then making it work for me. I haven’t found anyone talking about women specific EDC. There are always the “what’s in my purse” videos, which are comical!
EDC for women, just add a tampon!
what on earth is gender specific when it comes to survival equipment ? Apart from the obvious monthly hygiene products and even then a wad of bandages amounts to the same thing. I'm interested what you ladies think would be specifically different for women? Might be a new product idea in it.
Cool 😎 Thank you for sharing!
Need the song playing in the u-pak add

Sorry you got it wrong. The biggest challenge ever is what you can afford.
Круто! Очень жаль Россия никогда до этого не догодается.
Water resistant bag is not good enough. Need waterproof bag. Already said, survival guide, not school camping trip.
I thought this was going to be a legitimate review of worthwhile items. I didn't expect a series of commercials. Thumbs down.
Yeah the backpack is good for people who don't want to have to think about what they need. It's a good ide but I'd rather buy my own stuff and the back pack is sort of stupid looking
Why is the appearance of the backpack "stupid" & why does the appearance matter ? Shouldn't you be more focused on functionality?
I'm watching
How much price
If the survival girl made you laugh, click like:)
those are some "i'd like to die of exposure, please" shelters....
I'm more curious about the knife setup on the thumbnail. Why didn't you highlight that. Kinda clickbaity.
Hi I can produce the travel bag for you.
3:10. Don’t ever put paracord around your neck.
Where's the knife from the thumbnail
Knife not available!
Best to camp with a portable electric bear fence. 2.4 lbs packed for huge peace of mind. Because you don’t want to feed the bears
I live in a city where none of that stuff seems needed. 😂
yeah I mean the people in cities will probably die first so just stash a couple of bottles of whiskey , some weed and pray it happen s quick.

This is just a bunch of well advertised junk...
@Heyman Coolmanilikeitverymuch Totally agree ! Bushcraft gear needs to be made of high quality, long life materials. Failure in the field could be fatal in some instances !
This is clickbait. You don't have the thumbnail knife or backpack in your video.
If you bought everything these videos said is “essential” you’d need to rent a warehouse to store it.
Click bait that gets you to batched commercials with excess buzzwords. Waste of time since all points presented were by the vendor
Neat stuff!!!
Really? Good luck out there
Need to get them bay them or phone to call to get them
Platypus, Platypus, Platypus!
did one appear behind you ?
Does anyone know the brand of the backpack in the thumbnail? Not the stupid one on the actual videos list
Congratulation!
