This set is exclusively my own music and remixes, all made within the last year, with the exception of Colyn's remix of my track 'Never'.
During the one year lockdown I've made a lot of new music, focussing mostly on techno. Some of these new tracks can be heard in this 100 minute set.
March 20, 2021.
A year after COVID-19 caused a worldwide lockdown and turned the global musical landscape into an empty desert, a new hope arrives at the horizon.
In The Netherlands a try-out event takes place.
1500 people and a handful DJ’s are having their first party in over a year.
Every person on site has been tested negative for COVID-19, people in the audience are being anonymously tracked with a small device which is monitoring their contacts with other people.
This is the Future.
If things go well today, if there are no positive tests 5 days after the event, this could pave the way to life after COVID-19.

Amazing set... although very little defference between the Joris and the Kölsch Remix of London Grammar, not enough to be considered an original.. besides that quite awesome - hope to enjoy some live music soon!!!

I also listen to many new sets, without audience. Visit Cercle , Radio Intense, Time:Code and tens of djs channels at youtube (korolova is my latest star, playing great tracks)

i've been listening to Dance Music over 22 years, in the course of all these years i've only experienced a special connection with 3 DJs that i'm not able to describe how deep it is, DJ Tiesto from 2000-03, Markus Schulz from 2004-2015 and Joris Voorn from 2015, his productions, his mixes, his techniques, the darkness and happiness of his bassline, it feels like He plays his music directly to me. I have seen them live all of them here in México, Joris was in Playa del Carmen at the BPM Festival, unique vibes.

At the start you think that it will turn into a frenzy, and you would certainly expect a “Covid effect”.
After some tracks it quickly becomes a social call, despite the energetic set of Joris Voorn.
An interesting turn of my expectations …i guess people won’t party that hard as predicted?

The word genius gets thrown around a lot with certain dj's. Joris truly is!...whether it be vinyl or digital, trance, house, acid, progressive, tech, he's flawless & truly conveys the sound of each genre. The first time I saw Joris Voorn was in Portugal (Porto city) at Indústria Club :) something magic happened!!! I don’t know why but I was dreaming on that day and now I look at Joris Voorn and I feel me happy!!! I feel me live!!! I see something new unknown good and pleasant. I think it sounds more like progressive house, melodic house. Melodic Techno is much deeper.
Just so happy to see Joris Voorn doing a DJ Set again! Those people are so lucky to be back on a huge dance floor in Amsterdam! Hope we will enjoy again as soon as possible! Our futur is to dance again all together!

Your music and sets are so incredible in that even when i haven't heard new tracks or mixes your songs feel like old friends, as if ive heard them for so long they are already in my world yet i am having the exciting experience of hearing them for their first time, so many other producers create tracks that feel new, they don't have the feeling of a Hug from an old friend not seen for a while or re reading a favorite book from your childhood, that is very familiar but still fresh to reinvestigate, sorry sometimes i cant describe in words what certain music means to me, I dont want to insinuate your redoing the same thing, im trying to say you create such beauty its already feeling at home upon listening, I havent found a musician that has this effect for a long time.
