Not easy to comeback from down 0-3 to a national powerhouse. BYU never gave up- I hope they take the whole thing! Great to see the student support on a holiday break, too.
Oh. My. God. Wowwwww. I have no horse in this race; but that was the most amazing comeback I've ever seen in the women's college cup. Hat's off to BYU. That was amazing.
What a fun game (esp for BYU fans). Most impressive was that 3rd goal by BYU. In that position and with so much pressure to score, 9 times out of 10 the shooter skies that ball. This girl kept her head and tied up the game. MVP moment for me.
@@TheBraziliancougar if you’ve been following the women’s soccer team, you can be rest, assured they are hot this season and they usually aren’t down that many at all.Last nights soccer game was a one off for the women’s soccer team and they totally came back to win. Something that Byu football team has not been able to do this season.
0:56 usually when an opposing player is that far offsides and standing in front of the keeper when the shot is taken its called as offsides. Maybe the rules are different in college soccer? Either way, huge comeback lady Cougs! Its almost unheard of in soccer to come back from that far down
Yeah not sure. I thought the same thing! TECHNICALLY she’s not part of the play, but she’s blocking keeper’s line of sight which makes her part of the play, no? So… offside is how it feels lol
Grade 7 referee here, questionable offside, but I agree with the call here. Did she impact the play? I don't think so. Shot was off and keeper already moving in opposite direction.
That last goal was beautiful. Also great to see an olimpico, even if far post defender should have stopped it. Regardless of defensive mistakes it is still a great goal
My family and I wanted to go to the game but it was sold out in the first 10 minutes of the sale! I would have loved to have gone to that game! I didn't get a roc pass this year because it was different but I am definitely getting a roc pass next year.
@@heidimarkAbsolutely not. Watch again. UNC keeper clearly moves forward into the BYU player, initiating contact. The BYU player has every right to hold her position there.
@@grimson but the BYU player did not hold her position. She impeded the keeper by moving in toward the goal where the keeper already had position position. The keeper was moving side to side along her goal line, whereas the attacking player was moving toward the goal line. That's a pretty easy obstruction call.

what exactly is the point of a referee on that second goal against UNC? Absolute repeat of penalty committed in UCLA finals last year and never called. I credit BYU for trying it and getting away with it, but absolute crap officiating.

Insane game! Look at the crowd go crazy. What an an atmosphere

Wow I am a Tar Heel. Graduated from UNC in 2003. But that was incredible. Congrats, Cougars! What a comeback.
a true example of never giving up. let’s go cougs!!
A game played in a snow globe, college cup on the line, amazing atmosphere, and an epic comeback. Game of the decade for sure!

What a game!
Such a fun comeback! Glad we could make it out to South Field!
Super game! All the athletes showed great character.
What a clutch comeback! Not many teams can go down 3-0 and pull together for a win

Eerily similar to the UCLA game that NC lost last year.
I was confused for a minute. I saw this last year... Nope, just very similar
Wow UNC folded in 2022 and 2023…. That will be forever haunting until the old folks home
What a comeback and the Olimpico 😳
"Olympico."

Wow! This team needs to give a devotional to the BYU football team!
Lol! Great comment
Both teams need to learn not to be down insane amounts of points early in the game

All 7 goals in the same net.
Such an incredible finish!

Brecken with a crazy Olympico 😮💨🔥
Absolutely wild!!
3 goals in the final 9 minutes. Wow. Great call by Jarom Jordan.
so awesome!! any seniors looking to play on the Utah Royals! I hope so
I feel like BYU soccer is going to become a pipeline into the Utah Royals and I'm here for it
2 years in a row!? Wow
That BYUtv crew does a really good job covering sports. Jarom is the male voice. Great crowd there too :)

3:05 seriously tho wtf is that far post coverage? Sleeping or what?
Great stuff. Although the video seems to be speeded up.
BYU player clearly fouled the UNC goal keeper on the corner kick direct goal.
My thoughts exactly. The BYU player was not making a play for the ball at all. Only pushing the keeper into the goal. Should have been a foul.

What an Upset

Usually UNC are Queens in soccer
When a team beats UNC in Soccer I like to call it an upset.
yeah dude
Is this the greatest collapse in women’s college soccer history?
this game shouldnt have been even close. BYU goalkeeper is terrible. Need to take her out for next game or they gonna lose
