A: hapa, with a p, not a b, p as in porvoo. It doesnt really come from my bodytype (haba is your bicep in finnish), but from my last name Haber.
Q: what do you love?
A: i love my life right now. its really weird because autumn is coming and its rainy and windy and cold but its still really nice and feels fresh and Im like reborn. Not really but I love life.
Q: what do you want to be remembered for?
A: I want to be remembered for being a good guy after all.
Q: what do you order at a bar?
A: i order a beer. Im a beer drinker, I dont really drink cocktails anymore because I was at a friend’s 40th birthday party and her band kept giving me shots. I went home a few hours later and threw up on our kitchen table. I wasnt even that drunk. I cant drink hard liqour anymore, not even in cocktails really, so I drink beer.
Q: your go-to in cooking?
A: curry salmon pasta is my go to, I learned that from Kimmo Ekroth while living in spain. My friends still ask me to make that dish spesifically.
Q: what do you do when you get angry?
A: when I get angry, I really get angry and you can see it from far away. I cant hide my feelings. If I’m happy, it shows, if I’m sad, it shows and if i get angry, i really get angry. And sometimes if youre nearby and the reason why im angry, you really feel it. But I also calm down and forgive really fast.
Q: whats the most beautiful thing someone’s said about you?
A: it must be, i heard this a little time ago, that ”i love you”. It tells you everything, they love me, for who I am. It’s lovely if someone likes me for who I am.
Q: have you committed a crime?
A: yes, i’ve done many crimes. I still do them daily, like speeding and parking where I shouldnt. like right now, I havent paid for parking a few blocks from here while I’m here right now. But I’ve also been convicted for tax/economic (sorry dont know the right word for this lol) fraud when I was younger and in a bad place in my life. I’ve committed a lot of crimes back then. Nowdays I pay my taxes though.
Q: the song that makes you feel stronger?
A: mr bombastic if I need a lot of energy for the day, hahah not really.
Q: weirdest gig?
A: when we were at a festival in albany, the organizers forgot to get the security bars so they got some older soldiers to stand there with their cool russian styled hats and big moustaches. They all looked like stalin and they were standing there facing us for the whole 1,5 hours of our gig and just looked straight forward. It was really weird to perform with the soldiers staring with their guns.

A: i might be a little late from the interview (this one right here), to my manager toni. I wasnt late!

A: joker’s games (jokers are a finnish hockey team), thats horrible! Its my enemy team, well not anymore but my friend Jhallis Harkimo invited me to watch their game tonight and I wasnt sure if I’d make it in time so I had to check what time the gale starts.
Q: last realization?
A: i was just reading my nearly done book which is coming out in a year, and realized how hard it’s been for me in this business and with my relationships and everything so I kinda realized that while reading that its been my own fault how hard ive made these things. So, a person is accountable for their own happiness and circumstances are just circumstances, you really cant do anything about them. You just have to go with what youre given. Its a cliche but youre responsible for your own happiness.
