- This track is from a 1972 published book and audio set called 'Monograph on Langas: A folk musician caste of Rajasthan'. The fieldwork and writing was completed by Komal Kothari and published by Rupayan Sansthan, Rajasthan Institute of Folklore.

Notes: Kurjan, literally a sand curlew, tells the story of a woman who is seized by a dream in which her husband visits her bedroom. Her mother-in-law dispels the woman's illusions by rhetorically confirming her son's absence. The woman looks to the mythic figure of the kurjan for comfort and asks it to convey her messages to her beloved through greetings written on various parts of the bird's body.

lovely song since long long.
We heard and enjoyed "kurjan" through many of the voices of artists, but this chorus voice of langa artists is amazing and "swapnil" out of one's imagination.
