I'm not sure if anyone ran into the same issue, but I somehow ended up with 81 DC instead of 78 DC? I followed along to the 10 rounds, so I'm not sure where mine went wrong. I know the 81 is still a multiple of 3, but it's causing me some trouble at the next step (I don't end on a FPDC later as she notes, but the 8HDC). Did I just miss a major step somewhere??? It's been nice to make so far, though!
Put two dc per stitch on the side. It doesn't matter where in the stitch you poke your hook through, but you have to pick a spot and be consistent with it throughout. If you still dont have the right stitch count, count the rows you did and see if the numbers match up. You might have also counted a turning chain as a stitch or crocheted into a stitch too many times
@diadiana5956 glad it wasn't just me! I also made some minor adjustments and thankfully it worked out fine. I see now why she said make sure to do a a multiple of 3 😅 it came out great!
