Cole Hanlon I had an idea for a vertical shot in which I knew I could do it all in post. Just made sure I was far enough away from the subject so I had more room in post to work with!

There are sports that have been stunting much longer than cheerleading such as Acrobatic Gymnastics/ Sports Acrobatics which is much older than cheerleading. Acro can trace its roots back to Ancient Egypt which is more than 2000 years before Cheerleading and longer if you count stunts. In the 18th and 19th centuries they performed as troupes doing stunts and tumbling. In the 1930s it was recognised as a sport in the former Soviet Union while cheerleaders where still on the sidelines. In 1940s and 1950s other countries followed suit. Partner stunt is considered the layman version of what they already have in Acrobatic Gymnastics so doesn't seem fair to have stunt fest.
Who is this being unfair to, specifically? I enjoyed the historical info though.
