Great haul. Love all the doilies. Most printed napkins are 3 ply. It’s really worth it to work at it and get all 3 layers. They make great collage pages.
Thank you for the nugget of wisdom I needed! I already have some spreads in mind for some of these napkins :) maybe I can start taking them apart in all 3 layers this weekend!
I love going to thrift shops to raid their candle section, even if the candle is used I set it aside in case the power is knocked out and when the candle is used up I take the remaining wax, and use it to remake it into a new Candle. You'd be shocked to discover how much money you can save just by up cycling your candles, though it is a bit of a pain to reuse wax from herb dressed candles.
There are so many great scores at thrift stores! I used to recycle thrifted candles too before i started making my own beeswax candles. You could try straining hot wax through some muslin or cheesecloth to catch the herbs if they've been dressed :) it is a pain to do that, but like you said, you can save so much money!
The metal alphabet was such a treasure!!! Wow!
Right!? Now I'm planning all the silver plated spoon stamping projects I want to do!
All the papers? And napkins and doilies??? I’m actually jealous 😂
And that sun/Yule tin, I can’t even!!❤
Thanks! I got inspired to store things in tins after seeing your craft space! I knew you would love that one 🤣
I’m Tin obsessed 😅
