Excellent story! I am VERY wet behind the ears however Import / Export business is what I have decided to jump into with both feet. I am flying from California to Greece this weekend to meet a potential partner who can hopefully show me the ropes. I don't know him well, but he seems legit. I met him in Dubai and he has been doing it since the 70's. Any advice as far as vetting him?

Damn this video is so relateable. I left a very prestigious high paying job at a goldman sachs in nyc because this guy showed me evidence that he was earning $200,000 a month. I remember calling him and asking him to promise me he wasn't lying, and he swore that it was legit and I should leave my job to pursue it. Same story, I spent like every day with this guy and we became super close.Well his ex-business partner (who actually is legit) does an interview with some magazine and I find out THEY ACTUALLY LOST MONEY that month! The $200,000 was just revenue numbers. And then I find out he has actually made less than $20,000 in the past 4 years running the business. I was actually devestated.
I think psychologically, you're so deep into it you don't want to admit the truth. You keep coming up with excuses to why they might be legit. You just really want to beileve. Once it was undeniable and I saw proof he was a fraud, it felt like a brick dropped. I was destroyed.

First of all man that really sucks. Sorry to hear. And it takes alot to even make a comment like this explaining it all. You obviously have skill and hard work if you got that job at gold man sacs. And in the end things will work out. The score always settle itself at the end of the day.

I feel you man… unfortunately I’ve been through something just like this before. It was the first psychopathic liar I’d ever encountered. Before I realized it though, he became my best friend and lived at my place half the time. Sad.
…looking forward to seeing you bounce back! 💪🏾🚀

Wow! Great video Bro! I see what you meant. I feel for you Bro. What I have learnt there are some really troubled people out there, they can draw you to darkness and dispair and make you loose faith. In all that stay true to you, be more yourself, Dont allow negativity in the world or in people Change you. Heal all with Love. The most important thing Love yourself, be yourself, embrace yourself. And everyone around you will benefit and get ignited by that energy. Very impressed by you and your brother's accomplishments.

There is barely any information online, your going to need to get info from people who work in the industry or through your own experience. Most people are busy with online businesses ,especially the youth, and avoiding international trade where the real money is made.

@@Globe_Glider Thank you. And yes very true about the real money being in Physical commodities. I have been in Offshore oil and gas for 16 years getting in to commodities. Also am 40 and not very good with tech so thankfully that Gen z way if making money is a no go for me.

@@acapulcoscebu449 Alan is good but he just gives u international trade knowledge its only beneficial if you want to be a freight forwarder or a clearing agent or work for a shipping line. For commodity trading knowledge definetly Damien is better alan doesn't give advice on that since he just dealt with the transportation of goods.
