Nostalgia is such an indescribable feeling. The images and sounds of your childhood as the music that played over them replays. It's the worst and best feeling ever. It makes you cry and smile at the same time. That is powerful.
I agree so much, this thing made me smile so much and dang, every time the piano plays I would remember finding a desert temple and carefully dig down the side of the hole not to trigger the pressure plates and tnt, those instances that made us happy collecting that free golden apple and saddle 😅 Minecraft will always be powerful 🔥

It hurts seeing all my friends on the Wii U slowly go offline; it’s kind of heartbreaking when “Last online over a month ago” is practically all you see. But you know what? Just because they’re gone doesn’t mean the memories are. They will last forever, and so will this music. I remember one fondly in particular. Bug82709, who was deathly scared of endermen and who’d log off in fear whenever one showed up. I’d have to kill it to get him to join back. We were best of friends, online practically every day after school, but one day he just went silent. I haven’t heard from him since, so Bug, if you’re out there somewhere, I’m waiting. I miss you. -wolf

"Let's build our first house in Creative" "OK, let's go" 40 minutes later: "I think we should build an underwater base in ocean ruins and a secret path from our base across Nether" "Sure" 2 hours later: "I have to sleep now, goodbye" "Last online: 3 minutes ago" As for today, we've built many things. We play almost every day with the same enthusiasm as in the first time, and we enjoy it. Why did I write this? At the time you find this comment, you'll probably be crying, so this was written for you to remember that life is not really bad.
I still remember when I started playing Minecraft on my iPad in 2013, everything was simpler, I spent every afternoon with my friends, we explored each biome, we built a group base in each world we created, we were 4 friends and each one of the group I was in charge of one thing, one was in charge of collecting minerals, another of taking care of the livestock, the other of the crops and I was in charge of construction and exploration. We always enjoyed everything, especially the soundtrack of the game, we thought it was the best, basically C418 was for us an idol and a great musical artist, almost a god of music, in addition to building things and laughing about it, yes, we built anything thing, and we thought it was funny. I remember one time, we summoned Wither thinking it was a myth, like herobrine, and speaking of herobrine, we thought it was real and not a myth, going back to the wither, it destroyed our entire base, instead of being frustrated about losing a base that It took us 5 months to make, we laugh. We had a lot of experience in the game, a huge base with walls, and protection, diamond armor... But not everything in life is good. One day, two of my friends disconnected from the world and did not return, a year later, the only friend I had left also disconnected for the last time, but he explained to me that he was leaving because they were moving house and country, so What he told me, he now lives in Germany, he told me it's because his father got a job offer there. Several years later, in this same year, none of my friends connect to the world we had, I lost contact with 2 of them, and I no longer play with the last one I have left, we usually chat on WhatsApp and call each other, but it is not the same as before Minecraft was no longer that simple game that I and my friends liked so much and with which we spent so much time, until at a certain point I stopped playing too. Now I remember with nostalgia that old, simple and great Minecraft, sometimes I play it, but very little, and it is no longer the same as it was years ago. I don't know if this is grammatically well written since it is translated directly by Google, because I speak Spanish, but that is not what matters. In my opinion, Minecraft has stopped being a great game and my favorite, which I played all the time, in a game more than the rest, with a mediocre company, and updates that contribute almost nothing and are not up to par, one of those games that you have good memories in, but for some reason you don't want to play it anymore, and in my case, that reason is called Microsoft.
I wouldn’t say one of the best nowadays, but just because of the sheer amount of nostalgia and years of fun this game has generated for me, I can’t really ever stop playing it, no matter how boring I find it.
@LaggingTheLaggerI didn’t even know how to build until the 3rd or 4th day my first block was a dirt I made a whole village of first sadly I deleted 600+ world cuz I ran outta space one of them was my first world I still search for it even tho I know it’s gone
Remember going to the nether fearing you will die and lose everything? Remember mining for so long you come back and you finally see the daylight? Remember mining around and gravel/sand falls on you and you have a heart attack? Remember when you out of nowhere heard a *hisss* then it was game over? Remember your first house? Remember your dogs that are just waiting for you to come back? Remember that village you destroyed and took all the crops?
Oh god my dogs on my tablet worlds, And the sd card now is clear. Poor dogs, like this now: Wolf to pig: where is Steve? Pig: he grew up and got an ipad
My first house was a treehouse and the floor, roof and some walls were made of crafting tables :/ in the 1.0 Minecraft of xBox 360 edition, it was horrible but I felt good
Nostalgia hurts. This is the first thing i heard in the demo when it was late 1.4.7 and i started to play after my parents bought it the next day i didn't get the game so i played creative mode and then i created a survival world then i went to bed. I woke the next day to find the game update to 1.5 and i played that world so much and i lived in a snow biome and i still remember the layout but now that world is on another computer and i have my laptop so i will try to get that worlds seed and recreate on my laptop.
He probably changed his username, trust me, i've found so many people that i thought were just new players but then i talk to them and it turns out we even talked years ago
"You know what? Let's finish this tower tomorrow." "Hey, teleport to me so we can fight" "You got any wool to make a bed?" "This house will be awesome" These are some of the quotes i remember when i was around 7, now i'm 13. If someone would be able to make a time matchine in the future, i would love to play minecraft with my friend again. *C418* , *Markus* . You changed my life, and i'm really grateful *sniff.
When I was 3, my older brother showed me this..god of a sandbox Later, when I was in the 3rd grade, my friend asked me: Hey man, you got Minecraft? yeah. Oh cool! Let’s play! What’s your gamertag? (imma not show) "Let’s play a survival, or you wanna make a city?" "I can’t really build though.." "So survival?" "sure." "this is it, the portal to the end is on!" "Let’s go!" "WE BEAT IT!" "What now?" "Aw man, I gotta go." "Oh okay." "Play tomorrow?" *last online 5 years ago,* I finally found him online. We played again and got in contact. I miss it.
Not everything has a happy ending, but goddamn, when it does, its worth it. Hope youre doing well with your friend, cause hes surely one to stick with till the end

When the game was in beta back in 2010, I went to my friends house and he showed me minecraft. We'd take turns by switching every morning (in-game) and Honestly I wouldn't even care watching him play. I was just amazed by this game. This was all the way the back when I was in grade 3. He was my best friend and unfortunately in grade 9 I lost him. He was exposed to drugs at a young age and he overdosed. Worst part is that at this time I moved away from my home city to a smaller town, and I was at school when my dad called me, telling me that my best friend didn't wake up that morning. I've now graduated high school and planning to go to university in the upcoming months. I still play minecraft to this day with my new best friend, but anytime I hear this music is brings me back to my childhood. Back when I would've only been 9. I actually went back to look at our old facebook messages after I heard this song, and I saw the message to wish him a happy birthday. It would've been his 19th birthday today. This music will always bring me back to the good old times. It makes me appreciate everything I have, and where I am in life
rip man this was my life when i was younger. minecraft the best game to ever be made in the history of gaming. keep going and i hope you got into a good university
thank you C428 I grew up on Minecraft and still come back to it sometimes to this day it was always nice building a house in Minecraft with this music playing this song brings back so much memories although I'm not a fan of Minecraft anymore I still come back to this song frequently.
I played Minecraft for 7 years already and this makes me cry. I have lost many friends over the years and wish we could all play together one last time.
I’m 13 and have just entered what people call “the good old days” it only took me this long because my dad didn’t want “the internet” to “corrupt” me. When I was about 11, my dad let me branch out to my friends. But bad timing! The all migrated to fortnite and made fun of me because I wasn’t Immediately into it. This is what sparked my absolute and unwavering HATRED of fortnite and all associated with it. Now I have come to terms with my emotions and I honestly just don’t care anymore. A few weeks ago, my friends were all hit with a huge wave of nostalgia and came to me because I own a server and they knew about it. They soon after trickled out and went back to fortnite but I will always remember that sweet one week. Ever since, I would say that I was going to reset the server so others could play on it with me, but despite not playing on the server for weeks, they became sentimental about their builds. Recently I have decided to go ahead and reset the server and I have found a loving group of dedicated and mature players! I will make the memories for all of you who see this comment and remember the game as fondly as I am right now. But alas, this song mixed with the comments legit is making me cry. Goodnight.
i2 exe imma fortnite player now I’m 13 as well I just wish Minecraft was the way it used to be, if it was like that I’d quit fortnite just to play Minecraft, the game which always brings us nostalgia
It’s a warm summers night. You have the window open letting the cool nights breeze in through your screen window. Your playing Minecraft on your console, the light from the screen the only thing illuminating your room. Your trying to be as quiet as possible as not to wake your parents. Your on you’re survival world inside of your oak wood house with your dog sitting on your red bed. You put away the minerals you collected from your recent mining expedition, and place them all away in a chest. The suns beginning to go down so you put some pork chops in your furnace along with some coal and hop into your in game bed. And in a few seconds it turns from night to day again. You get your dog and pick up the pork chops you just cooked. You go outside and begin chopping down some trees with one of the many wooden axes you have in your inventory. You then start your journey towards the village close by. You begin walking through the forest next to your house and chop down some more trees along the way. You get out of the forest and find yourself in a big open piece of land with flowers and animals scattered across its open vastness. You sprint through the field until your hunger begins to dip, you take bites of your pork chops until your back at full. You then see the village close by, and you can see the many villagers walking around. You finally reach the village and grab some vegetables from the farmer as well as some wheat for your cows back at home so they can breed. You make your way down the village path and find the blacksmith. You look inside his house and find a chest full of loot. You take what’s inside and leave. You then see a librarian and walk over to them. You try to buy from them but remember that you forgot your emeralds you found from your mining expedition. You walk away back through the village and through the field and into the forest, back to your house. You yawn and rub your eyes. You look at the time. It’s late. You go to turn off your console and tv. You crawl into bed with window still blowing cool air into your room. It feels nice when your in a warm bed in a cold room. You start to drift to sleep, thinking about playing with your friends tomorrow at their house or online. It’s summer vacation and you have lots of time to do whatever you want. Then you fall asleep...

Nostalgia is such an indescribable feeling. The images and sounds of your childhood as the music that played over them replays. It's the worst and best feeling ever. It makes you cry and smile at the same time. That is powerful.
True
I agree so much, this thing made me smile so much and dang, every time the piano plays I would remember finding a desert temple and carefully dig down the side of the hole not to trigger the pressure plates and tnt, those instances that made us happy collecting that free golden apple and saddle 😅 Minecraft will always be powerful 🔥

It hurts seeing all my friends on the Wii U slowly go offline; it’s kind of heartbreaking when “Last online over a month ago” is practically all you see. But you know what? Just because they’re gone doesn’t mean the memories are. They will last forever, and so will this music.

Several years later, in this same year, none of my friends connect to the world we had, I lost contact with 2 of them, and I no longer play with the last one I have left, we usually chat on WhatsApp and call each other, but it is not the same as before
Minecraft was no longer that simple game that I and my friends liked so much and with which we spent so much time, until at a certain point I stopped playing too.
You're not alone I miss it too.
I miss the good old days
Godspeed soldier. Godspeed.
I may be in Gen alpha, but this is still relatable
I probably won’t ever stop playing this game. One of the best ever.
I wont too i had a Break from it then i found his randomly again
I wouldn’t say one of the best nowadays, but just because of the sheer amount of nostalgia and years of fun this game has generated for me, I can’t really ever stop playing it, no matter how boring I find it.

Ever since, I would say that I was going to reset the server so others could play on it with me, but despite not playing on the server for weeks, they became sentimental about their builds.

I miss the days.
I miss playing old minecraft on my Ipad, and building small mountain houses in survival. I would aimlessly smelt cactus for green dye and thought it was valuable. I miss that.
I would go to my parents and ask them how to spell "Home" on my sign. This was 6-7 years ago. Now I am in high school, doing really great in english, thanks to Minecraft. Minecraft taught me spelling, reading and all. Thank you, Minecraft.
minecraft taught me social interaction :')

The first day I got on Xbox I meet a nice guy that goes by the name of FireFox.
We always played Minecraft and make rollercoasters around the brand new sandstone village,we had the best of times together.I made statues and reds tone contraptions and he would add amazing builds.
FireFox: “Hey dude I gotta go man, I got school tomorrow”
Me:”Will you be on tomorrow?”
Fir Fox:”For sure man!”
