Lecture 3a: the peripheral nervous system (summer, 2017)

Welcome to another video lecture for my class on the psychological aspects of drug use and abuse. This is the first in a series of video lectures that will examine the ways that drugs influence the body, especially the nervous system. For now, I will focus on the peripheral nervous system, and especially the sympathetic and parasympathetic responses of the autonomic branch of this system.
