Thank you, Momma. Yes, was shot in Kyiv. Sounds like you maybe 3/4 liked it. I also would question the autotune or even AI. I do think, and I could be wrong, that there was a harmonizer used. Allows the artist to harmonize with themselves in real time, invented by Jacob Collier. The first time I watched/listened it was hard listening to music, lyrics and him at same time. It took 3-4 watches. One time muted just to read lyrics and think about them during pauses. Overall, I think he's pretty talented. Looking forward to the Ukrainians to comment.
Thank YOU, Dave. I have to admit that after having heard it a few more times times now - I'm really loving the song. The other one you requested will be uploaded tomorrow. I need to hear more from him and other Ukrainian artists!
First of all, love to see a female doing reactions vids...very cool. I'm a die hard Carpetman fan and sing his praises wherever I go. There are some people in this world that you think are immense and want to see them succeed. He is one of them. So incredibly talented and I will not stop doing my work on these socials until he is a household name. My playlist is so small it's embarrassing. I just have a hard time liking most music out there and everything Carpetman releases (minus only 1 song) I LOVE. It's unheard of for me and I'm really enjoying music again because of his sound. Supporting him in small ways via these socials is the least I can do. Thank you for giving him space on your channel. Much love. Subscribing. ❤ PS....Thank you Dave for putting in the work too! 🙏💓
Thank you for sharing this. This is AWESOME to hear. I completely understand what you mean about someone just capturing you. I feel that way about Sade. I have an open mind about all kinds of music and I know talent when I see it. I can see it with him, I just need to hear and see more. In fact - I have another reaction to him coming out later today (28th) to What Does it Mean to You. Without divulging anything about that reaction, I can tell you I will be listening to more of his work. Can you tell me what song you'd recommend I do next? Thank you again!
@ Good Morning. ☕️ Ohhhhh yessss Sade….even I own The Best of Sade. Voice like velvet. 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻😍😍😍😍😍. An open mind is all that’s needed. ❤️ LOVE that you are doing What Does It Mean To You next bc it’s soooo good! I have it as my ringtone….the flute with Diggity Boom lol. I have Carpetman in his glorious garb on my Lock Screen to match. 🖤 Ok….next recommendation has gotta be “Make It Lower”. I say this because I put it in my stories on another app and even my friends who aren’t fans RAN to download that banger. 🙌🏻 Thank you for asking, MommaOG. I shall return. 🫡 Wishing you the most wonderful day. ☀️🙏🏻😘
Thank you for your reaction. Ukraine has a lot of very talented musicians who create world-class music in different genres and fuse genres. To recommend a few for starters: Jamala ("1944" video & live at Eurovision, "Крила"), The Hardkiss" (they have brilliant videos - just an audio-visual art of its own, different in style for each song: "Stones", "Kobra", "Tony, talk!" (acoustic live), "Zhuravli" (❤), "Korabli", " Мелодія", "00"", "Zhiva", etc.), Go_A ("Shum" (video and brilliant live at Eurovision (❤), "Kalyna", "Rusalochlki"), Motanka ("Verba"), Jinjer ("Pieces" (live}, "Home back" (❗), "I Speak Astronomy", "Wallflower", etc.), Tina Karol ( "To wait out", w/Sanina- " Вільна"), Артем Пивоваров х Klavdia Petrivna - Барабан, Antitila ("TDME \ Lyric video", "Antitila -TDME \ Lyric video, "Лови момент" &"HELLO"- it's a 2-video story), "Kino"), Jerry Heil ("ВIЛЬНА_КАСА"),"Teresa & Maria" - live at Eurovision together with Alyona Alyona (❤)), and many more. Enjoy!
If you are interested in learning more Ukrainian music, definitelly take a look at DakhaBrakha. Expecially their concert at KXP. "DakhaBrakha - Baby (Live on KEXP)" might be a good introduction.
I know their song "Stefania" very well and love that song. I also love their collaboration with The Rasmus - In the Shadows of Ukraine. 🥰 Thank you so much for taking the time to comment!
The only two professional dancers and choreographers ever associated with Kalush Orchestra that I’m aware of are Vlad Kurochka and Daniil Chernov, neither of which are this Carpetman. Are you aware of another?

Carpetman and Saxsquach, play the part. lol I'm not a rap person but it had an interesting beat for rap. Kind of interesting but didn't leave me wanting more. I can definitely see why somebody might find great.
Let me just go on ahead and make an ass of myself. Based solely on appearance, you do not have that old school Hip Hop fan about you. And that's just me being an absolute idiot and judging. Funny thing, when people see me they ALWAYS automatically assume I'm into metal or punk, which I am, but my first love is Hip Hop. I saw Public Enemy and the Beastie Boys in 97/98 and it literally changed me. Please forgive me for passing judgment on you. You're super awesome and I appreciate your insight.
😅😅I get it and no offense taken. I have never looked like an OG hip hop fan. A Tribe Called Quest is probably my favorite. Not another group like them on the planet.

Не сподобалась реакція. І справа не в оціночному судженні щодо аспектів витвору.
А в тому, що це перетворилось на те, про що саме пісня😂
