Great explanation!
I have just been going through the same procedure, am also using Eaglevision mounts. Have set my 50 metre zero at about 4 mils from the bottom adjustment which on my scope (Athlon Argos 6-24x50FFP) leaves me about 18 mils (62 moa) of elevation to use.
One thing though that is critical if you plan to use the full height adjustment is that your scope must be aligned perfectly, both on the rifle and ensuring 0 cant.
Brilliant video.simply explained and very informative.thanks James keep them coming please mate
Is the FX you’re using FAC? And what cal were you using?
That is exactly what I wantedf to know but I did think FAC
at that distance but would like to be sure. Cheers Tippo. UK.GB.
Thank you.
? .... did I miss what Cal / ftlbs you're using . Ta
Thx..cheers..
1 click of moa is .262 of an inch which is just over 1/4 of an inch
hi james I've just switched to using clicks in the last 3 months, once you work it all at write it all down i find it much easier, i have a copy of my range card on my phone so easy when out in the field just a quick look to work out the clicks and you soon start to memorise them also, great video as always, keep up the good work
