just tested this out. I do want to mention you may want to be careful when using URL shorteners. I was able to get it to work in TinyURL while pentesting, but i got a couple random hits. probably someone scanning through tinyurl created urls. Obviously i didnt do anything with their info but still, not a good look. Be Safe!

Help After cd PyPhisher.py I bet error msg bash: cd: PyPhisher.py: No such file or directory however I can see PyPhisher when I check cd

You download the application from GitHub and you just follow the steps like I did it
when i do the python3 pyphisher it gives the error "Download failed due to: ('Connection aborted.', ConnectionResetError(104, 'Connection reset by peer')) , any help ?

You have to make sure you have copy and paste enabled in your virtual machine buy directional.
when it initalizate tunneleres it says Tunneling failed! Use your own tunneling service on port 8080!

Hm, I'm using this for a research experiment for my masters and all I'm getting is the loopback address when the subject clicks on the link, I don't need any login credentials to be captured, but I do need their IP so that I can verify who actually clicked on the link in the phishing email. Any suggestions on how to capture their IP rather than receiving the loopback 127.0.0.1 when they click the link?

If you have kali you should be able to follow the video perfectly fine. It’s a very simple process. You don’t really need any advance skills to install something from GitHub.
