Beekeeping: Failed Queen or Laying Workers? Fixing a Queenless Hive

- I came across this queenless hive while performing some early spring inspections Are there laying workers? It looks very similar, but I believe the laying workers haven't started yet and the queen has failed. Either way, the hive is failing and needs resolution. Thanks Simon. I try to show things that stumped me when I was a new beekeeper. They don't teach you these weird things in books and classes sometimes. A lot of people have no idea that worker bees will start laying eggs if the queen disappears.

Everything Reinbold it can be complicated. The thing is, there’s so many ways to accomplish the same things. I wouldn’t know what to do with a goat 🐐 Lol. Purina goat chow and some water. lol.
