So glad there is finally a forum where I can rant about how little investment Disney puts into their waterparks. As far as I'm aware the only slides added after their inital construction lies at just Crush N Gusher & the new family raft slide in Typhoon Lagoon. With Volcano Bay seemingly being a much superior experience, with rumors for more expansion on the way, I really hope Disney steps up the game! If any water park could use some high-tech water coasters...
Despite all of the land they own, Disney seems to be so conservative with their expansions to the point they'd rather cannibalize existing attractions and experiences to build new ones; not only removing old fan favorites in the process but also technically removing park capacity by having one new attraction instead of two; one old one new. Versus Universal which had to go out of its way to purchase a huge tract of land of which they are gonna build not only a new theme park but also new hotels and shopping street. Disney's been complacent for way too long to the point that their half-hearted attempts to try and bring people back are just coming back as lame lol.
My number one is Adventure Island. It doesn’t necessarily have the best slides, but it is really fun with a diverse collection of attractions and doesn’t have the atrocious crowds of Volcano Bay. Colossal Curl is awesome.
@@adambuckler1398 I prefer Aquatica because it has a better slide lineup but I haven't been to Adventure Island in nearly two decades so I am not sure how the operations are there today but I remember the atmosphere at both parks are incredibly similar. I went to Atlantis Aquaventure in the Bahamas, and even though I didn’t ride much, I absolutely enjoyed that place. It’s home to a tube slide that lets you float through a shark tunnel, and it’s overall a fantastic park with fantastic slides. Nice video!

It's easily my favorite waterpark anywhere. It may not have a big slide collection but the atmosphere is amazing and I could easily go down the slides they presently have all day without ever getting board.
My favorite is rapids in Florida, they have a slide called pirates plunge, it’s an 80 foot tall body slide one side has a plunge at the end while the other side has a tight hilux that made me grey out. Baby blue is a fun body bowl slide. Black and big thunder are funnel slides. Mega mayhem is a dueling water coaster replacing the old yellar mat slide, it was super tame but was dug into in a hill. Raging rapids has a tripple down with airtime. Big red is a bullet bowl. That’s just half of there slides
I'm not much of a waterpark guy, have not even been to Disney's or Universal's, but the best one I've been to is Adventure Cove in Singapore. There are wildlife-encounter activities I didn't do, but the standout for me was a gigantic lazy river that winds around the whole park and tunnels through giant aquarium tanks with stingrays and such.
I'm surprised you put the Dream Works park above Volcano Bay. Guess I'll have to check it out sometime. Volcano Bay is easily the best I've been to! The theming and slide collection are incredible.
I want to throw a bonus qualifier out to World Water Park in Edmonton. You mentioned that the park is great for body slides, but I want to point out to anyone reading that not only are they fun, but they are the smoothest body slides I have ever ridden. Despite the slides being over 30 years old, you won't feel a single crease on your back on those slides, which makes for a much more care free experience.

My faviorite is Siam Park (Tenerife). Personally, I preferred it to Aquaventure (in 2016) because of the layouts of the slides themselves (e.g. I would even rank Singha above Krakatau at Volcano Bay), but also because they are all located on a natural hillside. Volcano Bay might have theming that ist at least as good, but the slide towers outside of the volcano can never match a terrain setting. In addition, you get a lot for your money at Siam Park compared to the UAE parks and Volcano Bay.
The fact that I graduated school at Fitchburg State University so I lived there for 4 years and I have never heard of Great Wolf Lodge Water Park NE until this video baffles me. Great list. Hopefully you'll get a chance to visit Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels at some point. It's a very weird and quirky layout because the park crosses the town. The newer area has a typical layout with my personal favorite water coaster. The older are is really charming and odd and fits into the woods. They even (at least last time I was there) have a water slide that uses river water that then flows back into the river. The slide isn't high on thrills but it's really cool. I'll throw in two additional parks that are personal favorites. Ranging Waters in San Demas, CA is very solid. Also, Water Country USA has a great line up. It's nicely themed but sort of weird because it really likes the 1960s beach vibe but it's set in the woods. It also has a few steep walk ways which can be an issue if you have a stroller.

And secondly, are you also interested in visiting the new Oceana when it opens at Liseberg in 2024 (assuming that's when it opens)? You should do a bigger countdown when you visit more waterparks in the future. Until then I was surprised to see Volcano Bay ranked so high on the lst because you didn't sound too impressed in your review of the park. But I do have two questions that came up after hearing Rulantica is the only waterpark in Europe you've been to. First, do you have interest in visiting the waterpark at Alton Towers in the future? And secondly, are you also interested in visiting the new Oceana when it opens at Liseberg in 2024 (assuming that's when it opens)? One more thing, if I had known you'd be visiting Poland, I would've recommended this waterpark called Suntago Water World in Wrecza. It has a pretty huge waterslide collection if you want to see for yourself.

Volcano Bay does a lot well, you just need to be careful with crowds. I tried going to the Alton Towers one, but it had the same hours as the theme park, which were quite limited. The Lisebeg one looks like it could be cool.
@@CanobieCoaster I don't understand why European parks don't stay open as long as American parks do. I especially don't understand that when half of the Alton Towers Waterpark is indoors. So weird.
What about Japanese ones? They have some really strong ones
I only did dry parks there.
Volcano Bay is my #1 overall
Understandable!
For me siampark in Spain is the best waterpark
I've heard that's awesome.
Hello!! 👋
Hi
Yasssssssss lmao
Enjoy!
The best one in the world was iceland waterpark in rak uae but they destroyed 😅
Oh no!
So you been to 51 different Water Parks, how comes you didn't do at least a top 20 video?? lol
Also know you been to Blackpool- and know you know of Water Park there-Sandcastle but you never been there??-as that park is one of the biggest in Europe!
I had limited footage for a few of the water parks that came next. When I was in Blackpool, I just went to Pleasure Beach and South Pier.
One of the biggest in the UK, definitely not in Europe. And has a pretty average slide collection, even compared to some newer ones in the UK.
@@benjacobs574 Yea I stand corrected, one of biggest in UK not Europe!
However I disagree it has pretty average water flume collection-least you didn't say it was below average or would of been trouble lol
I think some of them are average and some over average + I do really like the Sea Breeze Spa/Waterfalls Cafe-etc
Where in UK you from Ben?? 😁🏊🏻♂️
@@CanobieCoaster Fair enough, well when you go Blackpool next go to Sandcastle!
Sure you saw the outside of it when you was in Blackpool can't miss it lol
And sure you checked website etc
