Ladies keep being your authentic self. I find your dynamics as friends and makers is refreshing and I think the majority of those who follow you are here to gain inspiration and joy from you both.
Ladies you just keep doing you! (😘 one pair of fabulous earrings after another!)The joy that comes through the two of you being together and sharing your projects and insight into patterns and yarn is what keeps me coming back. I love to see the tips & tricks on making a pattern my own, changing up the gauge, stitch count, just being brave and adjusting a pattern and making it our own. Badger & Bloom has been in my queue for a while now and I’m really getting the itch to cast on.❤️🧶
I’m almost caught up on all your episodes, having now binge watched all your previous ones (and meanwhile knitted half a spot sweater by Anne Ventzel 😌), and now I only have two episodes left! I hope you’ll continue to podcast together - and to stay exactly as you are! So fun, inspirational, cozy, profound, and generous. Thank you and hugs from Denmark 💜
First of all! You two are awesome! And never hide your amazing awesomeness from anyone no matter who says what! And second of all I’m fangirling like crazy that you mentioned me!!!! Thank you 😘 😘
I love how the lipstick and accessories matches perfectly with your sweaters! I love the friendship and love of craft you two gals bring on each podcast. You two have inspired me to knit several projects. Thank you!
Hi Ladies, I have always appreciated you for sharing your beautiful friendship, your amazing knitting skills and the generous, loving way you have included so many others in your podcast. Much love xxx
Absolutely no need to justify any of your choices, sometimes happiness and joy act as a trigger in those who are hurting, miserable or unhappy. The best antidote for those who complain or criticize is to be your natural, upbeat happy selves. And I suspect almost all of your viewers will join you in that space. Sending big hugs and best wishes from Calgary. 😊😊😊
Please keep doing what you are doing! You DO project positivity and love and creativity!! Don’t change a thing; don’t even feel you have to discuss! Don’t be thrown off and just carry on! I love you both and understand and I even love your poetry! I’m a retired English teacher!! You go! You light up my life! Hugs!🥰
Plus, I love your colour choice in your knit wear! And you keep up with the cool patterns! And you take them to the next level with your colour choice!
I watch many knitting podcasts for different reasons. I watch yours because I love your sweater choices, the colors, the earrings and your lovely friendship!
You are so positive, honest and open as well as being gorgeous ladies inside and out. Your bond of friendship is obvious and wonderful to watch. You are inspirational on so many levels, please keep sharing!
Thank you so much for another great episode! Your sense of aesthetics appeals to me, and you are both so beautiful, wonderful and inspiring. My most favorite knitting podcast ever! ❤️
I really love how you personalize your knitting objects, they really complement and compliment your personalities. I think you do have an uplifting impact on us, at least I always feel inspired by your confidence ❤️. You should not apologize for your yarn choices and sponsorships, you are wonderful knitters and you worked hard to reach where you are. Keep up the great inspiring knitting and not only !
Thank you for another wonderful podcast!! I look forward to each and every one. Please continue to let your lights shine!! You’re both charming, informative and a pleasure and a joy to watch !! 😊
Thoroughly enjoyed this episode. So many serendipity moments in this one for me. First because the Badger and Bloom sweater is next on my queue to knit and it will be my first garment knit with unspun yarn and also because you are trying a pattern for the first time by Anne Ventzel and I am currently knitting my first pattern by this designer called "Slanting Slip-On" as my summer knit and I was just knitting it while watching your podcast. I always enjoy the poetry, your interaction with each other and with the public and love your authenticity. It takes courage to show your true self and it may not vibe with some people and that's ok...I read this quote the other day that said something like "Be your authentic self so that your people will find you". Sending lots of love and blessings over your way!!!🥰
Even though I am a beginner whose speciality is dropping stitches I love that you talk about the adjustments you have made on your projects, needle size changes, etc. It is so inspirational. I also love how you wear glamour earrings as you help to alleviate the ugliness of this world. YOU GO GIRLS! Next year (haha) when I have finally finished this shawl, the next project in my bag is the Half Wrap Shawl. I look at the yarn every now and then.
Don’t comment often but have to say you two rock! I absolutely love hanging out and watching you. You have so much love and light to bring to the world and I feel that every time ❤️ and dammit stop showing such gorgeous yarns and projects … off to shop! 🤣
Please continue to be your authentic loving selves. You love yourselves and know what works for you. You both speak my language. We have choices and can plug into any channel to find what works for us. I have learned so much from you both about yarn, makers, patterns and your genuine friendship. ❤❤ So sad that you or any of us must justify loving ourselves and sharing who we are with strangers. So brave.
When Jackie said, "you are not too much" I definitely teared up. You two are clearly authentically loving friends who are here to empower other women to knit more freely and creatively. I know you don't need someone to say something you already know, but you are definitely not too much, you are what more women need: confidence and friendship in life and knitting. Love watching the two of you so much!
I love your videos, energy between two of you, how vivacious Caitlin is🥰you don’t need to justify yourselves, those who don’t enjoy watching are welcome to move on without leaving undesirable comments. I have been watching all your videos over and over (while knitting) and get a lot of inspiration from your choice of patterns and colours, Jacky, love your what the fade and will try to make it although never did a stitch of brioche before. I even made my poor husband watch it to show off your shawl. Keep going❤️
a new subber here! and can you believe, a new knitter as well...but a nearly lifelong crocheter. so, yarnaholic, perhaps? anyway, I am midway through this podcast and I just had to say that your talking about flow and looking for joy and going toward what lights you up.... “thank you...with all my heart!” just that: thank you! 💗
After seeing the opening split second of this episode, you two have totally inspired me to finally cast on the Badger & Bloom! I love the natural colors that I've been seeing lots of people use for this pattern but... PINKKKKKKK! I have watched you since episode 1 and I am endeared by your sisterhood. Both of my BFFs whom I grew up with have passed away within the past 5-6 years. Im only 56 so this isnt something that's easy to digest. My sister lives almost 700 miles away. My Mama passed away a year and a half ago. So I say that to say this; hold on to what you two have. It is very special and unique and It makes my heart happy to see how you look at each other with love, respect and silliness. XO! ~Dianne
Oh my Diane - of course it’s beautiful that your heart has been touched by so much love, I hope that brings with it the resilience that a person needs to keep bravely feeling, loving, aching. Those losses are tremendous. Wishing you days of beauty and discovery in your living and creating even with, or especially with your knowledge of the fleeting, preciousness of this being here. ❤️
Love you two and am always inspired by your knits and beauty and everything else! Caitlin, your poncho is amazing (I’m lucky enough to have Lavanya as my knitting friend. Knitting friends are the best)!
I just adore you ladies. I wish I could put it properly into words. Your vibe, your aesthetic, the way you push love into your audience and the world. Just thank you.
You guys are wonderful and I have never felt any narcissistic times from you at all. I think it’s is just certain people feeling insecure about themselves. You keep on shining and being gorgeous and inspiring.
I'm totally inspired! Absolutely 💘 the colors of the first sweaters so much that I'm writing in the middle of your podcast before seeing what else you will share. I really want to make one. Watching you always encourages me to learn and become a better knitter at my own pace. Thank you! Plus I'm seeing you on a Monday too..🌈 😊 Bliss.
I love you two, your friendship is so special - someone you can be vulnerable with and trust completely. I am missing that in my life and it is inspiring to watch you both. I'm going to try the knit at a coffee shop thing and see who I can meet lol. Thanks for sharing! :)
First time watching your podcast and enjoyed it . Loved the Badger and Bloom sweaters. One will definitely be on my needles this fall. I adore the Barber cords truly an accessory that is worth the money.Mine are hot pink too !
You all are a great duo! I always love to see what you are knitting and your perspectives on yarn, what inspires you., etc. Jackie, your point on watching different podcasts to get out of your own head…I totally relate. I like the richness of diversity in this community…keep doing what you do. It brings much joy! And on a side note, you two are beautiful on camera but even more so in person!
The word I use for that feeling of the perfect yarn for the long awaited pattern that fits absolutely perfectly is apotheosis--sort of ascending to heaven! I'm just now blocking one i made from yarn I frogged from a different project a few years ago and i absolutely love it!
Oh my goodness! With my traveling I realized watching this episode that I hadn’t yet watched the precious episode so I had to get caught up on that too! First, Jackie!! Sepsis??? That’s terrible and scary and I’m so glad you’re better!!! Second, I’m so sorry that you got some negative comments but you both are amazing and so incredibly strong and authentic and I hope you always stay the same. I takes so much bravery to do so but it makes such a huge difference to the world and to inspiring the rest of us. So thank you soooo much! Third, I can’t believe you gave us a shout out even after allll the support you’ve already given us on our podcast!! I’m just shaking my head over your generosity and encouragement!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!! ♥️♥️♥️
I'm terrible about commenting before I've watched the entire episode, but thank you for the in depth discussion about sleeves! I have an Easy V that is sitting here waiting for me to figure out what sleeves it wants and this little chat has helped tremendously. Thank you! Now back to the show...
Fully agree to every word on intention, please continue and enjoy making, enjoy finding, enjoy appreciation, be it podcast, friendship, designs of others, poems, quilts, cakes and so forth...i find empowering what you do and show and talk about. And if i am not in the mood...i wait with watching...
Another great episode. You are both so inspiring and I love your authenticity. Please consider doing a podcast with Ralvery tips and tricks. Great idea Caitlin💡🧶❤️
Hi. Love your content. Like your style and you guys often put a smile on my face. Usually learn something too. Never understand why people feel the need to make negative comments.
Ok I just found you guys and the fact that you are wearing thick knits In the heat with A/c full blast, and that you started with Dylan means I am hooked 2 minutes in. I love it too.
Just wanted to say its so nice you both are such best friends and can just have fun on this channel , telling your stories and enjoying the products you get and use , don't worry about negative people they will always be here trying to bring people down . I think you are both genuine . hugs I love Sally , your sister the pie diva, James , and that sweet Girl with the amazing knitting ability and Fashion sense, and POPPY.
Thanks for sharing. It’s sad that you have to justify what you’re doing for some people. I think most of us just enjoy your sharing of the beautiful knitting projects. I wish I had a friend who gets it, the love of knitting that is!
I am so very sorry to have missed you at Black Mountain Yarn Shop. You had the nicest comments about the shop and our lovely town! Please come back again!
Thank you for another lovely episode 😍 I’m always happy watching you together and you don’t have to explain your intention..you are spending time, effort and money to entertain knitters around the world- people who don’t like a podcast simply don’t have to watch it- keep on being passionate about your knitting and poetry and friendship- love all the way from Kuwait
Fabulous as always! My husband and I were dancing in the rain at night not too long ago, such fun 💃🥰 I feel sad for the people who need to give unsolicited negative feedback. They must be in a place of such discomfort to feel the need to do that. If you ain’t got nothing nice to say then…… When things rub me the wrong way, rather than criticise I try to work out why it’s making ME react, ugh. Anyway, this is a knitting podcast and you guys are fabulous. I just love the play that creation brings, there’s so much joy there, so thanks for the sharing it makes my heart full. Those earrings 🥰 and consummation was spot on 🤣 anticipation, longing and then completion 🤭🫣
Idk if it’s a new feature, but I saw that Ravelry makes suggestions for patterns to use for yarns. It’s super handy… just search for the yarn, and click on the suggestions. It pulls up the most frequently knitted patterns where people have used that yarn. I have discovered new patterns and how the yarn looks with those patterns.
When you read a book that you have had in your queue for a long time, it's called reading from the backlist. Knitting from the backlist makes sense as well! I enjoy your podcast from North Carolina and hope to get back to Black Mountain soon. It is a beautiful area.
I have been watching you from your first Podcast 🤩💗🐑🧶You both have inspired me in my knitting Journey 🐑🧶I’m traveling to Knoxville at. The end of August 🤩💗💕💕🐑🧶please text the list of the delicious Bakery Restaurants etc love your Podcasts🤩💕💗🌷🌹🌺🐑🧶
I love you guys! I love that you are best friends and I so, so, so appreciate that you are willing to share yourselves in this platform! Jackie, tell me about that plaid blouse you changed into!
Another sweater moves to the top of my q. Lamb and kid must be loving you two (just like me), because the died to order is sold out. Don’t let the silly haters get you down, because many more people love and appreciate you guys.
Aww so sad that you feel you have to explain yourself... I did notice Jackie seems a bit distant and sad the comments probably do hurt more than you say. Just know that some people out here come to you for quality, for me your channel is a lot like a lookbook full of inspiration and ideas, mostly dream yarns and such but also a lot of important topics to keep me interested while knitting or whatever I'm doing while watching. Thanks for sharing with us.
Hey Ladys. I love your podcast. And I couldn't be more opposite of you. I love boring colors i would combine the green and the grey from your birdies. I never wear jewelry or understand jackies poems. And the things you love knitting are completely different from what i would knit. But i enjoy your energy and watch your friendship. You feel authentic and vulnerable. So please stay the way you are.
Jacky what you said regarding the ?? Comment that was placed on your last podcast was well articulated. When one does not fit within the box that people Feel some should - I always feel that it is sad that they can not find the personal contentment within in to allow each of us to just be the person we are . We all struggle with the outside world ‘s perspective of what should be. I personally feel the courage and contentment within you and Caitlin does project a lesson we could all grow from as individuals. To enjoy an unconditional friendship that you enjoy is beautiful and one could be envious . It’s a gift of creativity you guys share and enjoy . So just enjoy being yourselves without feeling you must clarify to others. A Friendship like yours is so special and rare. Plus the talent you guys have. We all land where we are meant to so maybe some are destined for another podcast if they can’t see what you are offering to the knitting community . Your podcast as others -always inspire me to do better . So I Thankyou for just being you. 🌻🦘from down under
I’ve always loved your podcast and your authenticity, and earrings! I recently finished the book “These Precious Days” by Ann Patchett. I mention it because they’re great essays but she also co-owns a book store in Nashville, Parnassus Books, and is a knitter. Maybe if you ever take a trip there can give her a visit.
For some reason it has been a trend to throw around psychological words like narcissism, grandiose, etc. There are a few of us who are licensed to use these words and to see people without judgment. Now people just pass judgment off on people using words they truly don't understand and aren't trained to use. That saddens me. Just keep doing what you are doing and as others have said be your authentic selves. Love watching you ladies - no judgment here!
Jackie you have always been so kind when I message you. I have had lovely conversations with you. You have been so sweet and when you have stuff that is too expensive for me right now I’m just not going to buy it and there are always alternatives I can find too. I use yarnsub a lot 🤣
Hi there! Thanks for the shows. I've been trying to locate your little lesson on gauge. I subscribe to your instagram and you said it was in your highlights but I can't find it. Any chance you can give me a clue on how to find it, or run it again? Enjoy you both very much.
Am I understanding that someone criticized your Patreon membership? I don't think they take the time to understand the time and effort that goes into making a podcast...not to mention the need to buy the yarn and patterns to show off, plus the time you put in to work on the projects that you show each time and the travel that is needed to take us along with you on your adventures. And isn't it strange that we may get 1,000 compliments and it's the ONE that we focus on? Let's not to that anymore. Maybe that person didn't have the experience that a lot of us had over the last few years; that it was these podcasts and the knitting community that kept some of us sane ;-)
thank you for the podcast ladies! quick question: would you mind sharing how tall you each are? - in the interest of seeing how a sweater fits your size frame? thanks! also want to say to caitlin - wow - your hair has totally rocked these past two podcasts - as an also-curly, i'm wondering how you avoid the frizzies in your humidity? please do, share your products with us! and one comment: seems to me that you both could be designing your own sweaters by now - you have both knit sooo many, and are always talking about how to tailor to your size - just wondering if you have any thoughts about venturing into designing? thanks again - cheers
Question I looked up the sweater you start the podcast with its awesome. Someone crocheted it? Did you knit yours? I’d want to knit it. I’m gonna check out your insta stories for help on design and adjusting it also sounds like you talk gage too.. Thanks. So appreciate your help with patterns you make very inspirational.
Love your podcast💝
And those gorgeous sweaters and those amazing colors🥰
Love your style of knitting🙏🤩
Ladies keep being your authentic self. I find your dynamics as friends and makers is refreshing and I think the majority of those who follow you are here to gain inspiration and joy from you both.
so so so much respect and admiration for your openness about intention and lifting yourselves, each other, and others up. you're both so wonderful
Ladies you just keep doing you! I feel sad for the people who need to give unsolicited negative feedback.
Love that!

Another sweater moves to the top of my q. Lamb and kid must be loving you two (just like me), because the died to order is sold out. Don’t let the silly haters get you down, because many more people love and appreciate you guys.
Love you 2!
People join your podcast because we all love both of your styles!
I love the way you both dress! I t makes me happy and more inspired to dress the way I want to, go for it!
Yay! Madison. Me too. Great chat
Obsessed! Sweater love 💗 ❤
Ur knits are stunning absolutely love the poncho
When one does not fit within the box that people
Feel some should - I always feel that it is sad that they can not find the personal contentment within in to allow each of us to just be the person we are .
🌻🦘from down under
Those suri jumpers are amazing - I am ordering now in Jacqui’s colours!!
Enjoying your podcasts so much! Remind me where the darling little top-tie leather bag is from? Many thanks 😊
The leather “bunny bags” are from Sandy By The Lakeside.
It’s in the highlight called, “Tips” (at the end). I can repost later today.
Thank you I found the tip and took a screenshot of each one.
Love!!!! Do you ladies by chance have any links for the earrings you both are wearing????
They’re from Pittsburg Mercantile ❤️
Hello from Mounds Illinois.
Glorious!
Maybe that person didn't have the experience that a lot of us had over the last few years; that it was these podcasts and the knitting community that kept some of us sane ;-)
love you both so much 💋MWAH!❣
It would be wonderful if you can do the draw online for all of us to share the experience 🌞
Thank you for the feedback!
I’m constantly looking for empowered/empowering women, 10/10 here.
thank you for the podcast ladies! quick question: would you mind sharing how tall you each are? - in the interest of seeing how a sweater fits your size frame? thanks! also want to say to caitlin - wow - your hair has totally rocked these past two podcasts - as an also-curly, i'm wondering how you avoid the frizzies in your humidity? please do, share your products with us! and one comment: seems to me that you both could be designing your own sweaters by now - you have both knit sooo many, and are always talking about how to tailor to your size - just wondering if you have any thoughts about venturing into designing? thanks again - cheers
Jackie 5’6” but I also wear a lot of heels, Caitlin ?
designing-sure, but you know, so busy knitting all the things 😉
I’m making a sophie scarf and agree…more more more!
